I Love Voting Exercise Your Right. Dec. 13, 2007

Ok it's that time of year again when we are inundated with all these award shows and awards.  Ever feel disappointed because the academy of peers didn't choose who you wanted, maybe they didn't even nominate who you wanted.  Well here's your chance to participate in awarding honours to your peers, fellow homeschoolers.   Remember if you don't vote you don't have a right to complain.  Though I was completely ignored again this year and I haven't even been asked to MC at the Awards show I am still a supporter of the process even if they have made a grave oversight, but I'm ok with it it's like People's 100 sexiest people issue for the last 10 years I've been 101 so I haven't made it to the magazine, but I was close and it's not about getting awards that counts but rather participating that is most important.

So since I'm not nominated and I have to make a decision I'm looking for people to influence my voting.  The following are acceptable bribes

• Cash is always good / please no US Dollars Canadian dollars or Euros only
• Cookies or pie I love cookies and pie sending me some of these will definitely get my attention
• A week away somewhere warm the snow is getting to me and I could use a getaway right now
• Cash did I mention cash, if it will help you can use paypal to send me money
• A new car, I would probably vote for you in every category even one's you're not nominated in (just make sure it's not a gas guzzler, I don't care about the environment but I do care about my bank account) so maybe if you got me the car and someone else sent cash that would work out

So get those bribes a coming, I'm not ashamed I can be bought.

Remeber if you are nominated and really want to win you need my support don't let that otehr blogger beat you  don't pull out any stops there's no rules about bribery in the official Homeschool Blog Awards rules. So grease my palms a little other people seeking peoples votes have been known to do it their's really no shame in buying yourself one of these awards.

Speaking of which what is teh name of the Award The Motion Picture Academy has the Oscars and the Music world has the Grammy so might I suggest the Hommie
