Spring won't oficially be here until tomorrow, but it already feels like it's arrived. Although it was freezing outside this morning, I still saw signs of new growth everywhere! Today, I took my horde on a field trip. Every so often, our local food co op will have an activity and today they planted seeds! The kids had a lot of fun with that even though Charles didn't want to do one. Even little Kitty got in on it! So, pumpkin, radish and sweet pea got planted and made their way home with us. Alas, poor Kitty had an accident and piddled on the floor, much to my embarrasment. She'd been two days accident free too. :( It's my own fault. She was trying to tell me, but so much was going on that it didn't register.
After we were done planting the seeds, I got the kids a snack and we went to a nearby park. The kids quickly consumed their milk boxes and fruit leather before running off to play. We didn't stay long though, only about 15 minutes. It was just too cold. And I was tired of Charles whining wanting to play. He had quickly gotten in trouble for climbing up the slide backwards and then made it worse by throwing a fit so he had to sit in time out almost the whole time we were there. We stopped at the bike shoppe on the way home. Our Burley stroller had been there almost a month and it was time to pick it up. We hadn't planned on it being there for so long, just with one thing and another we didn't make it down to pick it up. Deedee was excited though because she found a bell for her bike. It's purple, so it matches. LOL Kitty was in a stroller that I borrowed from a friend, so at first I wasn't sure I'd be able to get the Burley home. However, the boys pushed both of them, and I got a great little video of them going in circles. :D Oh, and I finally picked up the tiles the kidlets painted two months ago on a group field trip.
