So I find out next week if I was acceptedto go on the Europe Trip. I really hope I was!!!! My birthday is tomorrow and drivers test is next week. I am both excited and worried.

So, I had baseball practice today and it went pretty well. I worked on catching and throwing. Afterwards my dad picked me up and we headed out to fill up our water tanks for the pool. As we were driving, a white piece of paper with fuzzy looking beige prints caught my eye. I reached over to pick it up from a compartment under the radio and as I did my dad said "It's a starbucks card" and sure enough I opened the paper and there was a five dollar card. Then, my dad proceeded to tell me how he got the starbucks card. It so happened that he had to wait so long at his dentist appointment that the receptionist gave him the card. "Whopee, five dollars for waiting an hour", my dad exclaimed. He is NOT a big coffee drinker. I then remembered that my cousin Karissa had told me that the Frappucinno's at starbucks were REALLY good. So I carefully hinted that maybe my dad should give me the card. Eventually he did after he washed his truck!!! Well, I didn't realllly expect him to go to starbucks but that's where he headed! Into the parking lot we pulled in with dad's red Dodge Mega Cab. I was kind of hesitant to go in because I had never ordered anything from starbucks and wasn't sure if there were different flavors etc. So I opened my door as dad pulled to a stop, "I'll come in with you",Tia told me as she hopped out of the truck. "Oh I guess I will too" replied Dad. So in we went. I was REALLY hoping I didn't see anyone from school. As we walked in the door I hesitantly looked around. No one I knew!! I went up to the counter and ordered a frappucinno. "What Kind" asked the guy behind the counter. "UMMM... What kinds are there?" I asked. "Lot's" he replied pointing at the sign and proceeding to read all the names. "I'll have a Mocha" I decided. "What size" he asked. "Small?" I questioned. He told the girl behind him and proceeded to ring in my purchase. It came to 3.99 and I handed him my gift card. At that point my dad saw Shelley and Jayce who are soon going to be related to me. She said that she really liked the Iced Tea Lemonade. When dad stopped teasing Jayce about her shinpads and missing front teeth (he asked her what she wanted for christmas!) they left. So dad asked me for a dollar and said he would use up my gift card on a large iced tea which he then ordered. The guy behind the counter then told me my Mocha was ready. It looked really good with whipped cream and chocolate piled on top!!! I retrieved my drink and tentatively took a sip. It was pretty good!!! "Can I have a sip" Tia asked. She gently placed the straw between her lips and took a sip. "PPPPPPPP... Yuck this is gross" she said rather loudly while sticking out her tongue. The cashier then asked dad if he wanted the gift card back "Oh, you can keep it" dad replied jokingly. "Umm actually we do reuse them" the cashier said rather bluntly. "Would you like your reciept?", "You can write it off, you're in school" replied dad to which the guy smiled. Well finally we were ready to leave the store. dad grabbed his iced tea off the counter and told Tia, "You probably won't like this either!". She didn't and proceeded to make that known to everyone in the store as we made our way out the door. "Yuck, Poohee" she proclaimed while spitting. By now I was quite embarrassed and it was worse when my dad tried to walk out the automatic IN door. |
Well, Auntie Jessica I hope you're reading this cause' that is the main reason I am writing!!! Anyways summer is quickly approaching and I have some plans. During exam week(June 19) me and my friends are going to see The Proposal due to the fact that it appears funny! In July I am taking C.I.T at Camp Nakamun and then I will be a junior counselor for a couple weeks. It should be an enjoyable experience because I l ve kids!!! My friends and I are going to try and get together over the summer a couple of times and maybe go shopping or swimming (maybe both). Two of my friends are celebrating their birthday on Friday at WEM waterpark. I might go shopping with one of them beforehand seeing that my mother dislikes shopping. Our goats are going to have there kids soon and I am very excited, my friends recommended the names Beak and Halo! I might consider them. Our kittens are already starting to grow and they have there eyes open. The white ones' name is Vanilla and she will be going to my grandpa when shes big enough. The other three are grey and they look quite sim ilar, there names are Minty, pepper, and Puppy(all are adorable). Well I'll try and write soon! |

Summer WOW!!! I can't believe that in september I'm going to high school!! I've been in the same school for 10 yrs (since kindergarten). What's everyone doing this summer? Anything SUPER exciting? Brianna |

Tomorrow we are going to mystery Lake!! Its called "MYSTERY lake" because no one could figure out how the water left the lake. But it has since been determined that the water flows underground to the east and joins Drinnan Creek.There is a horse trail running along the south side of the lake to another campground. Uncle Curt is bringing three horses so I'll probably be able to go with him!!! Anyways I'll try and write during the summer. tata Brianna |

It seems like everyone is becoming an elf for christmas ha ha. Anyways on Friday we're kind of having a party. In the morning we're playing games and in the afternoon they're watching Pirates of the Carribbean 2. I don't think I'll go in the afternoon. Then a girl from church is having a party so i get to go at 7:00. Unfortunately I have a Unit Exam tomorrow! On Saturday theres a BIG Christmas party at the church for Grandma Shirleys side of the family. It will be fun considering we only see alot of the people once a year!!! Brianna |

I have to perform for the Christmas banquets about 5 times. The little kids had there Christmas performance on Sunday. The Age 3,4,5 were really cute one little girl started dancing it reminded me of Sadie. She probably would have too. Well I brought the pics from Belize to school and showed them to my friends. They have no idea what poverty is. one girl said she was a Christian and wants to go on a missions trip because of the guys. I gave her the four spiritual laws and told her to read it. I don't think she understands what being a Christian is. Well TTFN Brianna |

SOOOOOOOOOOO I'm back and have a ton of work!! I had a fantastic time and have alot of stories. There were 18 people that came. 5 from Guatemala and 13 from canada in B.C. and AB. The hotel we were at was the Princess Hotel and casino (Great name when your on a missions trip HUH!!!) Anyways its one of the best hotels in Belize City. Walking on the streets handing out flyers for the Jesus Film was scary at times. I stood out alot cause I am white and my age. Alot of guys noticed waving at me and talking to me. not always saying or asking stuff I wanted to hear. Over four hundred people excepted Christ and over 2000 p saw the film! The church we were with Centero Evangilistico kept a set of equipment so they can show the film. The kids at the church were really friendly. I talked to some of them and got lots of attention!! Cairo I agree that blogs are COOL!!!! But your day is just as exciting as mine though I was VERY nervous when I went for my babysitting course!! but it was A LOT of FUN!!!! auntie Jessica and ROBIN gave me my christmas present early ( a leather journal) and it is very cool. I will try and write in it every day in Belize. I have quite a few journals I wrote in on other vacations and occasions that are quite funny and some embarrassing!!! Today at church we performed "My Saviour, My God" (choir) You could probably figure that out from the title but nevermind!!! Anyways they had worked on the sound system yesterday and last night soooooooooo the system went all wacky. My mom said she couldn't hear us and Uncle Curt said it sounded like there were a thousand people singing(there were 23 people really). Anyways the monitors weren't working, Curt said we sounded "Cool" and Auntie Jodie said it didn't sound nearly as good as last Sunday when we practiced. Well I guess that's what they get because of the SOUND SYSTEM!!! TTYL Brianna |

I leave for Belize on Friday with my grandma and will be gone for 2 weeks!!! Only thing is my mom wants me to study for my learners this week and I'm afraid I'll fail AGAIN :( I bought some Canada stuff but probably need more pencils and stuff for the trip. I miss Bball tryouts but my I talked to the gym teacher and he said he'd tell the coach for me. I really want there to be a team!!! Brianna P.s.
