Win a year of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine- Digital Edition!!!
A few months back I did a mini review of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine’s new digital format. I really liked it then, and I said so. Since then our family has had the chance to really use it. It’s not like every line is to be memorized or anything, but absolutely every quarter there is SOMETHING for everyone in the family. While I am reading an inspiring article to keep me refreshed and ready, my daughter is reading the article they have on bugs! The guys like the articles on energy and discuss which method they feel is best and why. There are others, trust me! The new digital format means we all get everything day one. We can read it by accessing it online or by downloading it to our computer. Either way, the format makes everything easy to find if a subject comes up and I want to come back and reference an article later. This has been immensely helpful integrating some of their pieces into a few of our unit studies. I still only print what I need. I really like The Old Schoolhouse magazine for their quality articles and uplifting spirit. I feel this digital format really hits the mark though, as the magazine comes of age in our electronic, instant information world.
I like this product so much I wanted everyone to know you can get a free digital review copy here http://www.theoldschoolhousestore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=145&products_id=2515
Also, I will be giving away a full 1 year subscription to The Old Schoolhouse Magazine –Digital edition on August 20th.
Please leave a comment to this blog here that includes your contact information (preferably your email because that’s how they contact you – can have spaces to avoid bots and I will know to take them out). On the 20th my daughter will draw a number from however many comments have been left and that person will win the subscription. Good luck to all!

Really liked all the ads about different places to go and the sites that offer homeschooling things. This is only my second year of doing this so I am still new at it.

I would love a digital magazine - it is a bit pricey and tricky to order it from New Zealand so a digital magazine is awesome!!!

Hello all, I don't do this normally but I thought that I would add a comment with the chance to win the digital copy. I home school two children presently, my 13 year old daughter and my 8 year old son. I also home schooled their older sisters Tracy and Rachel a few years ago. And now they have grown up and left home. We all live in New Zealand.
Home schooling is a great challenge and I recommend it to any family. You really have a relationship with your children when you home school and your relationship with them is closer and much healthier than if they went to school. I have found that Home Schooled children are very clever and are fun to have around. They also pick up their educational work easily and do it well.
I am downloading the demonstration/free Old School House digital magazine and I know that we will find it a usual item in our collection of home school material.

Like all home schooling parents I am always looking for something new to help the children learn. So thanks!

I am downloading it since I cannot read the text in my browser window. Unfortunately, the download says it is 80.7 MB. That's a whopper of a file.

Good on Old Schoolhouse Magazine for offering a digital version! Even though it can be hard to break old habits like having a paper copy of a magazine delivered to your home, a digital magazine is so much better for the planet -- and offers the many benefits described in the blog.

I had never seen the Old Schoolhouse mag. Thanks for reviewing it. I am impressed with how polished the online version looks -- not just like a newsletter from a mag, it still has the feel of reading the full color glossy paged magazine. They did do a great job! michaelmom @ aol.com

Hi we live in the UK and find it really hard to get hold of magazines that are pro unschooling so this sounds like one for us. Thank you for bringing it to our notice and can I post this info on some UK groups.
