**http://www.internet4classrooms.com/k12links.htm This site doesn;t do free downloads or giveaways, but it is a teacher resource site that allows you to find just about anything you need at any grade K-12 and any ability level. You can find lesson plans and that sort of thing if you’re into that. I use the site to find websites that have material (instruction, tutorials, interactive labs, games, etc) on a given subject. You can find material on a given subject within specific grade parameters if you want also (Ancient Egypt grade 2). If I am unsure we have covered everything for the year, I can click on the subject and the grade and just go down the list on the left-hand side of the page to double-check. For record-keeping I usually just print the completed pages or certificates the kids get at the end. I believe these are TN standards. If your state doesn’t require specific standards, this is a good check “just to be sure” as most moms get that spring panic, but you should never feel pressured by a standard.
