A Desire to Hold

At my farm on a hot Saturday afternoon, you notice some adorable baby goats that you would desire to hold. Therefore, I will teach you how to successfully pick up a baby goat. First, open and shut the gate, then cautiously pet the mother goat so that she will feel comfortable with you. Second, walk slowly towards the baby; otherwise it will startle and flee. Then, you grab around its waist and bring the kid close to you. After supporting the neck with one hand, hold the animals bum with the other hand and bring the kid against your chest. Beware; do not squeeze the baby because its cry will attract the mother. Once you are ready to release the baby, kneel down carefully and place the kid on the ground. As the baby dashes to its mother, you can sense the love.

Splendor of Color Between the rows of poplars, Summer strolls with her skirt hem sweeping across the brown grass. Her golden locks trail along the landscape. As Summer dips her delicate brush into the paint can, she creates a portrait of her splendor of scarlet, tangerines and gold upon the plain canvas. Downcast she steps and inhales a deep breath. Summer stops and turns back, and exhales a long frosted breath, causing bare trees behind her to shiver. Summer wanders to the golden fields; the late morning breeze blows three lonely yellow and green leaves towards her.

Guess what!!!!!!Our other goat had triplets. There was a girl and two bays. The other goat had two girls and one boy. so i am realy happy.Got to go.. Bye Brittany

May. 2, 2008 - Animals

I haven't written for a long time. Today I did a math test and I have to do one more. Then I will to do spelling.

Just right now one of Carly's baby rabbits died. The moms name was Zepher.. Carly and my Mom has 16 baby rabits that eat on their own.. I have one rabbit it's name is Shoot.

Today Karissa, Kyle, Chelsea, Brooke, Jim and Jodie are leaving to go to Florida for 2 weeks.

Guess what? Carly was feeding the outside rabbits these rabbits are in a pen that has hay at the back and open in the front; she saw something moving in the hay. So she went and told mom and me. One of the rabbits had babies outside. There are about 4 or them. They are black with a little white on them.

Well, I better get going to do more schoolwork. Brittany

Today Carly and my Mom cleaned out the bunny barn. We are going to get five new bunnies. Also a lamb and a mama sheep.

Last week we had springbreak. Also we celebrated my birthday on March 22. I am now twelve years old. I had a fun week without school.

Today I went to Auntie Jessica's house. All of Auntie Jodie's kids were there too. I learned how to play on the guitar and mandolin. I had lots of fun. Tomorrow we are going swimming at the Tri with Auntie Jessica and her family and Auntie Jodie's kids. I better go now since it is my bedtime. Brittany

TODAY IS VERY HOT AND IT SEEMS LIKE SPRING. TODAY I WENT TO MY GRANDMAS. AT MY GRANDMAS I HELPED HER MAKE BUNS AND CLEAN THE HOUSE. AFTER I WENT SHOPPING WITH MY MOM AND CARLY AND I BOUGHT A SWEATER AND A SCARF.THEN WE WENT HOME AND LOOKED TO SEE HOW MANY BABY BUNNIES WE HAVE. SO FAR WE HAVE 9 BABY BUNNIES.

Today I cleaned Tia's room it was very messy. Then i went and watched a movie. It was very G-D.Then my mom came home. After i did my writing.I had to type it up too. So that was my day. BRITTANY

Jan. 2, 2008 - My Christmas

For Christmas I got magnetic stix and lots of other things. On the Dec.22/07 we went to grandma Shirley's house. On the Dec.23/07 we went to grandma Shirley's church to see my moms sides family. On Dec.24/07 we stayed home and opened presents. On Dec.25/07 we went to my other grandmas. So that was my Christmas.

Dec. 14, 2007 - December 14

Yesterday we got invited over to grandma's and Auntie Jessica's family was over. They just got back from Hawaii. Darren had white hair and so did Uncle Curt. I had lots of fun. They came and picked up their dog in the afternoon. We still have the goats and rabbits here. Uncle Curt said he was coming to get them later. Today is very boring. Brittany

Dec. 10, 2007 - Brianna

Brianna came back on Saturday night. She gave me a wallet and a key chain. Grandma gave me a head band and a bracelet.

Brianna is doing Math right now. Because she has work to catch up on from when she was gone.

Today i had a very boring day. I had to do the dishes and clean the bathroom.Then put Tia and Carly to bed.

Brianna is coming home on Saturday. We don't party at all.

Today Chelsea and Brooke came over.We went outside. They came over at 12.00pm. I had a good time with them.

Today Tia my littlest sister went to tutoring with my mom. Thay are not back yet. I got to go now!!!!!!!!!

Thursday we went to fantasyland hotel. It was a theme room. It had a bunk bed and a queen bed. We had a hot tub in our room. We also went to a movie. The movie was called Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium. It was really good.

Today Carly and me played in the snow. We made snow forts. Then Tia got home from the dump. Then she came to play with us. After Carly got cold then we went inside. So now I am writing in my Blog. Got to check the emails.

Nov. 26, 2007 - Monday

Yes, we are taking care of the Jespersen's dog Sevdi. She is a pretty good dog.Mostly she stays with the goats. If we let her out she likes to wreck things and take shoes or boots if the garage door is open. She is just a puppy but she doesn't look like it. She is bigger then our dogs and they are 4 and 8 years old.

I made cupcakes today. Also I cleaned my bathroom that I share with Brianna. Now it should stay clean a lot longer with Brianna in Belize. She is the messy one. Brittany

Tonight Carrie, Robin and Darren came over. They brought Sevdi their dog . Carrie and I went outside. We walked around. We were going to jump on the trampoline but it had snow on it . So we went to look at the animals. Then we went to the front yard. We saw Darren and Brianna playing basketball. Curt came and called his kids and they went home.

Carly and Tia my little sisters just had a bath.They just got out of the tub. Now they are having there snack. Then they are going to bed I think.
