...For me to post!!!!

 Sorry for not posting in a while, but I do have a good excuse! NO REALLY, please listen!!!!

     First off, Dad moved the computer desk out of Mom and Dad's room and he had to re hook up all the wires back up. He did something wrong with the Internet wires and so we had to use dial up until they came and fixed them. So, to make a long story short, we now have our DSL hooked back up, so we can finally use the 'faster' Internet!!!!

     Second.... my camera broke. No. kidding. Weeelllll the lens wouldn't come out and guess what? IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY!!!! YES!!! We shipped the camera to them and the warranty expired 2-3 days after they received it!!!! PRAISE GOD!!! I'm so happy. We just received it yesterday, so now everyone is joking that I now 'have my baby back', which is somewhat true!!! I really enjoy my camera.

    Did all of y'all have a good Thanksgiving? We did! We went over to my Nana's and Pa's for dinner and just lazied around and had leftovers for supper. It was the first year that my mom had fixed anything to bring over to my Nana's house. It all tasted very good!

       Well, that was a shorter post, but it will do for now. Hopefully since our DSL is hooked back up, I can post more often.

Samuel and mom were having their 'flash card session' and the flash cards weren't mixed up well enough so this is what it sounded like....

Mom:

Samuel: (he answers quickly)

Samuel: (quickly again)

Mom:

Samuel: (answers quickly)

Mom:

0+1= ?

Samuel: (yep, you've guessed it, quickly)

Mom:

3+2= ?

Samuel:

Uh.... Oh dear, uh....... Five~!

(he was just caught off guard with them all being 'easy' ones before that last one. It was a whole lot funnier listening to him!!!)

Thursday, October 16, 2008 - Blog Anniversary!!!!!!!!

Tommorow will be my third year anniversary of being a blogger. So in honer of that, here are three 'blog' things that I have learned since I've started:

1:

 You can meet lots of nice people with a blog... and some... not so nice! LOL! ;-)

2:

I've learned a lot of HTML and template making stuff. I've really enjoyed doing HTML and really appreciate all the advice that I've gotten from different friends. (Thank y'all so much!!!! )

3:

It's inspired me with Photography. No kidding! Seeing other bloggers with good photos really helped me. I really like photography!!!!  (Although you can tell I'm not very good at it yet!)

Saturday, August 23, 2008 - Ok, I think I'm going to post.....

..... ha-ha.

    Sorry I've taken so long!

      Alrighty, where should I begin?

Baby news:

    Mom is free to go in labor at any time~!!! I'm excited! She has dilated 1 cm already. If she doesn't have the baby by the 14th, they are going to induce her that Saturday. I'm excited~! I MIGHT tell you what our baby names are.... maybe!

Home addition news:

 Where do I start with this? ;-)

 We have moved the boys room over, the bathroom's done, and the school room is done, as you probably already know. We might try moving my room over soon!! I'm excited. I'm getting a bird (maybe a parakeet) for my birthday (which was in June) except we wanted to wait until we got to the new room so it wouldn't be so much trouble. Also, I have a 10 gallon fish tank I usually have running except all the fish died out so I decided not to add more fish until we get moved over. We don't want to tote a million pound fish tank over to the new side! LOL

School news:

I've started my first year of high school on August 4th.... So now I have a taste of what high school is all about.... Don't ask. It's alright. It's a wee bit harder but, I *think* I'll make it!!! LOL JK

Church:

  Last Sunday we had a Missions Sunday to sorta' renew our outlook on missions. It was really good! We three missionary couples there. It really helped me.

Miscellaneous News:

 Dalton and Joy~Anna had a birthday this past week! Dalton's was on Wednesday. He just turned eleven. Joyanna turned two on Friday the 22nd. Joyanna got a cute little tricycle and a big ball. She loves it!

   When my parents went to go pick up Joyanna's B-day present they saw some of our friends. We haven't seen them in about 3 years! Their mom was my old P.E. teacher in our home school group we used to go to. We first started going there when I was six. They have twin boys (who are about nine months older than me), an eleven year old, and a six year old. Me and the twins are pals so I was VERY mad when I found out that my mom and dad had saw them and I was not there. blah. Oh well, hopefully we'll see them soon.

Tuesday, July 1, 2008 - finally posting... KITTENS!!! *Ü*

Blackie, on of our cats, has had kittens! Yesterday afternoon me and mom were going to the store to pick up some eggs....(we have some lazy chickens plus one broody hen!) and we walked out on the porch and saw a dead white kitten on the porch! Poor thing... then we saw Blackie was in the flower pot...

She was in labor!!! (UGH!!!!! I didn't know that the kitten was in the background!!! Sorry!!!!! *blah*)

BUT....

she had had another one before that~!!!!!

(She is the same cat that had kittens about a year ago under our chicken coop and abandoned them. Remember? She had two (I think), one was dead and the other was alive, and I *tried* to feed the little kitten?)

  Oh well, We saw that she was in labor and we could see part of the kitten coming out.... Jesse said after we had watched her a while... " Why don't she just stand up and the baby will fall  out?" LOL... that was pretty funny.

  This morning we woke up and she JUST had the other kitten... it was still born!!! Poor Blackie~!!!! She had it out in the sand pile in front of our house... she buried it! Awww...

 This is the LIVE kitten...

  This is about the size of the other kitten that I tried to 'nurse' (We used a 'kitten bottle').  Blackie is feeding it now!

  Hopefully she won't have any more and if she does, it will be healthy and easy to deliver... AND I hope she doesn't abandon this one too!!!

Tuesday, June 24, 2008 - Pa-paw

My Pa-pa died on Sunday. (My mom's granddad) He was 84... we will miss him! :,-( We were at the funeral home from 6:00pm to about 8:00. The funeral is going to be tomorrow. Pray for us and everyone else in the family.

Friday, April 25, 2008 - I'm BACK!!!

We are here! We had a great time~! They had very good food and preaching!! Like Bro. Weaver said, "I like meetin's and eatin's." LOL! I should be able to post more on it later! Actually I had it wrong.... this is our 4th year. SORRY! They were showing a slide show of past years, and they had a picture of me and Bethany in our matching red dresses...(that was a LONG time ago!!) LOL! TTFN,

Monday, April 21, 2008 - Good Day!

We're going to be gone until Wednesday at a nearby camp meeting. We'll be leaving in a few minutes!!!! It's really fun and we've been going the past 5 years!!! GOOD BYE!!!!! See you Thursday!!!
