Blessings are wonderful aren't they?!?! Especially the unexpected ones!!! The most recent ones were last night. This week, our church (Shirley Hills Baptist) is having a WinShape Day Camp from 8am-5pm. It is days full of physical activities designed to help keep kids from 1st-6th grade healthy & active as well as focused on the Lord. It is a program sponsored by Chick-Fil-A. Cost: $169 per child. We had wanted to enroll 'Lil Buddy into it because we thought it would be good for him and that he would really enjoy it, but we couldn't afford it so we made sure not to really talk about it to him unless he asked us. (he never did ask us about it, PTL!) Last night after the first complete day, a friend of ours called us and asked us if we wanted to send 'Lil Buddy - there were open seats and the church would pay for him. AMEN!!! Whoohoo!!! Of course, we will send him...we talked to him first, just to make sure that it was definitely something he would be interested in (we weren't going to force him to go LOL).. so great! Now he is going. About 30 minutes later we get another call and the Children's pastor said, Bring 'Lil Princess along, too, even though she is only in Kindergarten -- church will pay for her too..bring her along. So, both of them get to spend today-Friday at a wonderful day camp experience full of exercise, fun and the Lord! I get to spend the next 4 days at home with my 'Lil Angel, which will be wonderful! Praise the Lord for HIS (and this is all Him!) blessings to us!! Thank the Lord for a wonderful church family who will make things happen for those who wouldn't be able to participate otherwise. Note here: We never told anyone that we couldn't afford it -never talked about it - just kept quiet and put it behind us. Isn't the Lord AWESOME?!?!?!?!?
