Apr. 28, 2008 - Cloth Diaper Laundry
I used some soft, flannel receiving blankets I had and cut them in to 8" squares and then serged around the edges. I have about 4 dozen of these. I also use them as washcloths and "kleenex" for the kids.
My baby beauty at 11 months!
/>I own 8 bumGenius 3.0s and can't wait to up my stash.I love cloth diapering! I have 5 children and this is my first experience cloth diapering. I'm not sure what took me so long but I am so glad to know all about it now. Cloth diapering has been a good fit for me. We already gave up paper towels and kleenex in favor of a multitude of hand towels and vintage handkerchiefs that make me smile anyway. I have several dozen hankies that my grandma have picked up over the last decade. They are gorgeous and have been sitting in the attic until this year just waiting to be used. I thought I might feel guilty using such beautiful works of art but then I realized it is almost sinful to let them languish in a dusty attic unused. So now in our "green" quest I am cloth diapering. My husband is still cautious but has changed a few diapers. He must be coming around though because I heard him brag to several friends this weekend about the new diapers. It was so funny to me because I can still remember is reaction when I asked him if I could buy some cloth diapers.
