I remember a set of dishtowels my mama had when I was small. We called them T-towels. Each one was embroidered with a day of the week and a chore that went along with that day. My mama had done the embroidery. I know that because she taught me to embroider days of the week bibs for my little sister. I happened on a site today that had a prayer listing those chores in a unique way. And it made me think of my mama, of doing dishes without a dishwasher and special things you learn at your mama's knee, that you love to do, but forget where the joy of the lesson actually came from until something sparks it. Here is what sparked mine.
