My Son and His Family
Posted in Grandchildren

29 years old today...cherish the days, they are fleeting!
You belong to Christ Jesus...May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace...I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy...I am sure that the One who began a good work in you will carry it on until it is completed. That will be on the day Christ Jesus returns... It is right for me to feel this way about all of you. I love you with all my heart...God can give witness that I long for all of you...I pray that your love will grow more and more. And let it be based on knowledge and understanding...Then you will be able to know what is best. You will be pure and without blame until the day Christ returns...You will be filled with the fruit of right living produced by Jesus Christ. All of those things bring glory and praise to God.
Phil 1:1-11 portions from NIrV Totally out of context, but prayed for you today with Great Love on your birthday.

I just read your comment on our blog. Actually, there are two of us who post on Reforming Motherhood (me, surrendering all because I'm not pregnant (yet!), and my friend Amy (definitely pregnant and surrendering her body to camping excursions!). Thanks for commenting, and blessings to you and your family!

I just had to smile seeing everyone trying to fit in the kiddie pool! Heehee! We have one of those too. Maybe next time we will have to join our little guy for a swim, although it does look a bit crowded. =)

Wow...thanks for the awesome comment you left for me on my blog. I really like to hear how others have trained their children. I didn't learn that much from my parents as far as training and discipline goes -so sometimes I feel like I have no idea what I am doing. I'm reading a lot and doing my very best to be consistent. My daughter has sure given me a run for my money at times!
Anyway, thank you so much. I appreciate it.

Hi Bobbie,
I have been away for a while--thanks for keeping in touch anyway! For a while, homeschool blogger was such a mess that I didn't even bother trying to get on. One day, I spent quite a lot of time trying to put up a post. I pushed the button to post, and everything crashed and was lost, so I was rather frustrated!
We were very busy last week considering buying a new home. We decided against it, but it was amazing what a draining experience it was! Thinking everything through on a big issue like that was exhausting to me! Is that my age showing or what?!
DS is managing to last until lunch fairly well these days. He either eats a big breakfast or he takes a snack to hold him over until lunch. He definitely sees some advantages to homeschooling, but he is still enjoying the new challenges of going to school.
Happy birthday to your son! And God bless you and your family~
