I love the new school year...

I love this time of year. It is my favorite time, new beginnings all around me. Tomorrow is a new beginning for me. I am going to a new Bible Study. I love Bible Studies and have taught them for years (decades) but this is the first one in a long time (a very very long time) I am going to go to and just be a student. My daughter and I are doing them together which I really love. And I am so impressed with the way they have set up childcare. They want to accomodate homeschooling moms (because we all now they need fellowship and an outlet other than blogging). So they are doing a daytime AWANAS for homeschooled kids while their moms are at Bible Study! Genius! I hope this catches on. I think it is as innovated as having evening Bible Studies for women that work outside the home.

That is so wonderful that you and your daughter get to go to a Bible study together and the grandchildren get to do the AWANA program at the same time! I hope the idea catches on, too!

Oh dear! How awful that you had to deal with the moths. We had some of that once, but not on such a grand scale. No wonder you weren't on homeschoolblogger! You've been washing dishes non-stop!

I haven't been in the blog world as much lately either. I have been so busy lately, and the days go by so quickly that I keep thinking, "How in the world did I ever get any homeschooling done?!" I am taking a class at the community college this semester, too. I guess if I'm not teaching school, I feel like I have to go to school!
