What a week this has been. October is usually filled with surprises but we never imagined this. Last week was Tirzah's 11th birthday and Talia's first birthday. We were in the middle of the party when there was a knock on the door. SURPRISE!!!!! My son Matty and his wife Syrena were at the door! They were trucking outside of
There was talk about moving out this way, the I-5 corridor is less driving than cross country. They hadn't been home for five weeks. But that will maybe be a future thought. Hopefully visits will come more frequently (it had been 4 years since we had seen each other) and next time will include Kayla. Her birthday is next week she will be four. Yes, that means the last time we saw her she was three weeks old. One of my highlights of the weekend was talking to Kayla on the phone. She told me stories and sang songs to me. It was awesome. She is such a chatter box. She talked to Tirzah, Kezzi and Bella for over an hour. She would say hi to her mom and dad and than announce she wanted to talk to her girls. Cousins are a fun gift from the Lord.
The new congregation led by Sam is doing well too. They have a permanent place to meet which is such an answer to prayer and they had 40 people last week at service.
We have had such a busy October. One filled with such blessings. I thought I should share it with you. I hope yours is as exciting and filled with color.
