I live in California, with that said....and the fact that we are a retired Military family... let's discuss Senator Kerry's joke...

There is no reference to the President, there is no reference to policy. Just a blanket attack on our US Military. Here is what John Kerry said at a Vote for Angelides rally. The Democratic runner for governor didn't need another nail in his coffin, but Kerry supplied it.

While campaigning in California on Monday, Kerry told a college crowd: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

If it were a botched joke towards the President, he would have used Leno's and Letterman's material and ended the joke with "and if you don't, you may end up President" Everyone has told it THAT way. But Kerry wants to be President and he wants to be popular so he tried to make it sound "political". The COLLEGE students he was talking to may or may not exercise their right to vote on Tuesday. But the Soldiers in Iraq and all over the world are making it safe so they can have the right to listen to a Senator show the World his true nature towards our Brave Men and Women in the Armed Forces of the Greatest Nation in the World.
