The twelve days of Christmas

Some people have pet peeves. I would say the misuse of the 12 Days of Christmas is one of those for me. The twelve days of Christmas is NOT the last 12 shopping days before Christmas. It is not the 12 sale items the store wants to push on you.

The Twelve Days of Christmas are from Christmas day to Epiphany on the 6th of January. Since this is a Homeschool site and should be used for educational purposes at times, I would like to introduce you and your Children to the Catechism in the Twelve Days of Christmas. This is a wonderful site http://www.crivoice.org/cy12days.html The explanations of each day are well done.

So celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas with your children. It will influence them for years to come.
