Wanna Hear a good one?????
A Jew, A Sunni and A Shiite walk into a Church....
This sounds like the beginning of a joke, but in truth it is the beginning of a Miracle! Not only can it happen in Christ. I saw it happen this weekend as one after another shared how faith in Jesus has brought them together. I watched them embrace with true affection. I heard them ask the brothers and sisters in the church to relinquish their fears and give their anger over to God. Because if we give satan that stronghold of our fear we will not venture out and share Jesus with Muslims who are literally dying to hear. I heard them speak of the atrocities done to them, the solitary confinement, the torture. I heard them speak of the joy in the eyes and actions of their fellow prisoners that loved Jesus. And how that joy drew them. No one presented Jesus to them as the typical street evangelist. It was in asking about their lives, getting to know them over a cup of coffee and apple pie.
A Jew, A Sunni and A Shiite walked into a church in a little poe-dunk town, speaking to about 100 people and touched the heart of the Christians in a very deep Holy Spirit penetrating way. Only the God Of Abraham could do such a thing!!!! What Governments cannot accomplish, Our God Can! And in a little church God began!!!

I guess I need to be checking your blog a little more regularly. Wow, so much is going on, it's amazing. Congrats on the ordination of your son-in-law, that must really be a blessing to you. I'm continually amazed at what God can do and yet, I know I shouldn't be.
Sorry about the tag, you just happen to have the distinction of having a user name that starts with the letter b. If you noticed I tried to use alliterations in my tag answers and by the time I got to the five people I wanted to tag I chose b ~ therefore you're it.
