Pray for these doctors- please pray that they would have insight and that the hand of Christ would be on them. Pray that the Holy Spirit will give them supernatural wisdom and knowledge beyond there experience and learning. Pray for peace in all the team attending to Heather.
Pray for no complications, and that all the tumor is removed, every tentacle dried up and nothing is damaged along the neuro-pathways. Pray that the things that matter to Heather, her personality, her memories, her speech and love of worship are undamaged in any way.
Pray for my parents who are with her, waiting for God to reveal the road before them. You have a Mother’s heart if you are reading my blog, so YOU know how to pray for Heather’s Mom as her baby has surgery and how to pray for her Daddy, this is his little girl. As they be strong for each other and for ark, let us hold them up during this battle.
Pray for my children, who are fully aware of what is going on back home and missing their mommie. Oh Lord give them peace and joy in the midst of their waiting. They are children and need their mommie. You know how much we need our mommie’s that is why You hand picked Mary to be Jesus’ mommie. Comfort them until Heather can comfort them herself.
Pray for my husband as prays for his beloved- Comfort him with Your presence in a very tangible way as he waits Your will to be made manifest in his life and in his wife. The Lord is holding his hand and his heart, pray for peace that passes all understanding.
Pray for Heather.First that Peace like a river will flow through her and from her to those around her. Pray that God breathes His breath of life through out her body, soul and spirit. Pray that this tumor would be gone- that it would die up at its root and that the doctors will have nothing to report. And if the only way for it to be gone is at the hands of her surgical team that You have chosen and prepared for a Time such as this, so be it.
Pray that their witness touches the staff around them while we are there. Give them praying nurses, praying doctors, praying technicians.
Pray that Heather and Mark have strength, if the above doesn’t happen. For above all we bow to God’s Sovereign will and trusting Him in all outcomes.
Psalm 27
1The Lord is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. 3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident. 4 One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.
