Babymakers, Threelittlesladies, TC and Tamara have all given me the Rockin Girl Blogger Award and I am barefoot as I type my Thanks. Of Course I am also wearing my headband, tie-dyed T-shirt, Fringed Leather vest and bell bottom jeans. In the laundry you will find my Viet Nam era Fatigue Jacket, my halter top made from flour sacks and feed sacks as well. (well you would have 35 years ago!) I have rocked the night away at Led Zeppelin , Jethro Tull, James Taylor and Hot Tuna Concerts. I have danced in the trees at the Greek Theatre While Carole King dedicated her music to the tree people and later had a real seat at her concert at the Forum. I sat in the second row at Elton John’s "Your Song" Concert at the Greek as well. That is a long story some of my readers like IceJet should not hear ever! Then I found Jesus!!!! But I am still a rocker! Petra, Russ Taft , Don Francisco, Keith Green….

As TC said I do know the most obscure lyrics and movies, like the Unicorn Song! But I really think I was given this Award because of THE BIG ROCK! You know the one we take pictures on every year. Now that Rock Rocks!

Now for the hard part, I have to nominate five bloggers that Rock! And since most of you have been nominated because you are such Rockin’ Girls This isn’t easy.

So I will start with my daughter. She is so Rockin’ Cool that kids from her old youth group holler to her in the parking lot like she is 17, which does wonders for the ego of a mom of six! So Heatherlee you Rock!

You all know that Mary Rocks! She is going to update my blog and make me cool again! That Rocks Big time! Mostly she Rocks my heart with real Friendship that is hard to express in mere words. She really is a little Sister in Christ. Hopefully she will help me put the Rockin’ Girl button on my blog as well!

Tiany really is a Rockin' Girl. She lives with a Boy Band! Really her husband rocks out Big Time and so do her boys! The Lord has used their family is so many ways to show the world that rocking and Jesus and not enemies of one another! Worship on girl!

With A taste of Chocolate Rocks! Anyone with Teens has to rock! The teens may not know that mom rocks and my even think mom never rocked, but deep inside we know the Solid Rock on which we stand that gets us through the teen-age years. So Belinda, Rock on my Sister!

And lastly Leaving a Legacy Because that is what she is doing. She rocks at it too. Right know she needs to know that she really rocks because she is being a mom with a child half way around the world sharing the love of Christ. She gave him the Legacy of Love that caused him to earn his expenses so he can do something for a culture totally foreign to him. She is Rockin’ the World one child at a time in the Name of Jesus! Misty I am praying for you Girl!

Of course in my heart you all Rock! The way you are transparently following Jesus, nothing rocks more than that! I love Rockin out with you guys!
