Show and Tell with Flat Stanley
Flat Stanley was invited to go the our local Christian Bookstore and help pick up some new curricula. with Tirzah's heart so filled with being a Missionary to Africa they decided to do this awesome new Curriculum they found at the store.
here is Flat Stanley checking it out.

Thes are the owners of our Christian Bookstore (The Light House ofn the Ridge), they are not twins, but treated as if they were. They are collectively known as "The Sues" . Here they are letting Flat Stanley know that they will drop ship him or anything anywhere.

When they told that to Flat Stanley he had Malachai take him to the backroom so he could check out the map puzzle. It is so nice to go to a store tha is set up for the kids to enjoy. Flat Stanley is wondering where he might like to go next.

while back there they checked out the used books and curriculum section...

Then they decided where we should go next...

This is the Gold Nugget museum. It is a California Gold Rush History lesson in itself. But Today...It was closed. Maybe Next week...
Show and Tell is brought to you by Canadagirl please join in the fun by going to her blog and letting her know about your Friday Show and Tell. And Flat Stanley is from Training Hearts. Come and play with us, Homeschooling fun is not just for the kids ya know!

I have not seen Flat Stanley in a while. That is too cute. My son is at the age he would probably have a blast if we take Flat Stanley on an adventure. Thanks for the reminder!
Blessings to you,

That store sounds really great. I wish we had something like that here. We have a big chain Christian bookstore that does carry curriculum, but it's just not homey.

You make him sound so real--like he's part of your family (which I'm sure he is). Fun S&T!

That Flat Stanley is having too much fun with you in CA. I invited him to our art museum, but he preferred to stay and watch the butterflies be born.

What a cute S&T!
And it didn't take my boys long to figure out what the tent was. As soon as the 2 end pieces were being connected they had it figured out. Of course it really didn't take that long to put it together anyway, just about 10-15 minutes!
Blessings!

We have that book. I've often thought we'd do the activity too, but have never gotten to it.

I came back to blog world and realized that I had won an e-book that was written by you from Tiany's Homeschool Open House. Then I found that a few of my blog buddies had these cool new map guestbooks. After reading the last few entries that you have posted I realized how envious I am of Flat Stanley. What a lot of amazing adventures he has been on with your family. A lucky little man he is! LOL. Amazing all of the fun I've missed in just a few short days. I was blessed to be with my family from out of state though. Missed you!
Blessings,
Lori
