Someone sweet to share with you
Posted in Grandchildren
This is my Kezziah Rose.

She spent the night with me while Mike was in Reno with his Dad at their annual Reno Air Race extravaganza. (sadly three pilots lost their lives this year)
But back to Kezziah...she was such a sweetheart and kept me from being all alone. She is the best helper and I got "Zones" done while Mike was a way I had forgotten I even had thanks to Kezziah.

In between chores we made paper dolls and tried to put together and Impossible puzzle that made us laugh out loud because it was so HARD! We never did get more than a twentith of it completed. We also watched Ice Princess which lead to deep conversations about listening to one another before jumping to judgement and how what you wear can cause others to have preconceived notions about you.
Kezziah who had made Apple Butter for the first time last week expanded her culinary skills by making a coming home stew in the crock pot for "Pa". He loved it!
Thanks Kezzi !!!!

It sounds like you had a great time. I'm glad she's learning how to cook, and has such a great time with you. :)

The fires in Tahoe and elsewhere have been horrible! It is a gorgeous area. If I get out that way again, we'll have to get together!

Reading this post reminded me of days spent with my grandmother when I was a child. I will always cherish those memories. Paper dolls are the best:) Thanks for sharing.
Be blessed

Hi Bobbie,
Glad Tirzah is feeling better. Praise the Lord.
I don't think the point of that poem was that the Lord would come to see my house. The point is that we are wayyyy too lax about the "little" sins in our lives.
Cystal Paine (www.biblicalwomanhood.com/blog) was looking for ways to preserve family memories, and I sent her over to your Joshua Stones post :o) It's a great one!

Hi Sally
I did know the point,But I was answering the question. "If he came unexpectedly, I wonder what you'd do"
Truth is I have spent all week in complete reflection , repentance and restoration. It is High Holy Days and my answer is because I really would be thankful that in all my sin He sees me washed whiter than snow, in all my short comings He sees the completed project. Knowing that gives me reason to rejoice everytime we meet in prayer, in the Word, in Worship.
Like Isaiah I would be Undone no matter how "Perfect" things around me were. His Holiness is more than I can fathom, His Love more than I deserve and measuring up is something I can never do, so He covered me with His Righteousness instead. And I am Thankful even with dirty dishes in the sink.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie
