Website Wednesday

Okay today is Social Action Day.

Actually today my daughter and I started reading, "Not on Our Watch". I say started because amidst the tears we didn't get very far. It is written by the star of Hotel Rwanda., Don Cheadle and John Prendergast. I called the local Christian Bookstore and had them order me two more copies.

My Wednesday Websites (go to SoCalVal's site to join in) will have to do with the Genocide going on in Darfur. And hopefully some ideas for what you can do about it.

Now for my Holiday tie in. December 5th is the Second night of Chanukah and the Fast calls for you to Fast a Luxury Item and donate the money that would have cost you, like the Latte you might be treating yourself to. So we are going to ask the grandchildren to give up a Chanukah present that night and the amount of money that present would have cost us will be going to Darfur. 

Praying the Lord is pouring out His love on you and your family, just as He is doing on ours!
