Today is my Mommie's Birthday
My Mommie whose name also happens to be Bobbie because her dad's name was Robert and we have a long line of Roberts and then GIRLS, Nothing But Girls, thus she is Bobbie and I am Bobbie, is having her Birthday today.
We grew up as Bobbie when it was not considered cute or popular to have a boy's name. We wore our names well and proudly.
My mom is every inch a California Girl. She went to Hollywood High and was even born in the Hills of Hollywood. Her daddy, Her Uncle, My Daddy and my Uncles all worked at the Movie Studios. I think I have cousins that still do. She is California through and through, She lives in an apartment with an Ocean View and believes nothing is more Beautiful than the Sun setting over HER ocean.
This is my Mommie
Today she is 78 years young and as lovely as she ever was. And she is lovely!

I had to go back and look for that Olive Garden cup. I guess we must like to eat at the same places. :)

Wow , what pretty pics . I LOVE the old time pics. There is something about them that seem magical almost. That is so neat you were named after your mom.

I'm late in wishing your mommy a happy birthday! Oh, Please do so for me - thanks. I've been so super busy this weekend with my list of things to do, that I feel like I haven't visited any of my friends in such a long time - in blogland. Hope you are doing well and fine.
