Friday Show and Tell with Canada Girl Journey to Africa
This is a different kind of Show and tell for me Today as rhe current storm has knocked out our power. But I am Dedicated to Show and Tell with Canadagirl and to you as well. So by candlelight and battery power I will add this First Show and Tell of 2008! It is going to be a good year,
Here is the TELL http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/bubbebobbie/452864/
And here is the show

And so it begins. Tirzah's first set of shots for Africa with coordinatong BANDAIDS!

Two on the right arm one on the left arm and 10 more to go!
Please keep her in your prayers that she doesn't have any major reactions and that they do not cause her HSP (that the Lord is healing) to flare up.
You can check out her blog HERE

She is a doll and her blog is wonderful. i showed it to my DD, she is in our prayers and her grandparents and parents too :)
I can't wait to to hear all of the updates about the money being raised for this trip and how the Lord is going to use her for His service there.
Blessings on your day,
Katia

OUCH!
I remember getting shots as a young child when we were supposed to move to South America for my Dad's job. They were big and painful.
I'm sure Tirzah is so excited that she hardly feels the pain, though.
BTW, after reading Ben Hur, we've about decided that if we have another girl somday we'll name her Tirzah.
Hope your power is on quickly.
In Him,
tracy

I am sure she thinks it is worth all the shots to go on this exciting trip. This sounds like a great opportunity for her. My daughter is supposed to go on a mission trip to Mexico this year. I need to check to see if there is any shots she needs. Thanks for reminding me.

This girl is destined for greatness, you can see it in her eyes.
I don't know who will be blessed more, Tirzah or Africa. I am continuing to pray for her health to remain perfect and no reactions to all of the shots she must have. God Bless this girl for her heart. Hope you have been feeling good Bobbie. Isn't
arthritis a pain? Hope you are able to manage it. Praying for you too.
Love, Laurie in So. Ca.

Go, Tirzah!
I got the book today! Wow, that was fast. I can't wait to give it to my DD. Tirzah looks so young to be embarking on this mission trip. But oh the stories she will have that will impact her the rest of her life.

Tirzah's blog site seems to be written by a girl much, much older than 13. It is hard to believe that our culture allows people to stay children for so very long when young people are capable to doing so much.
Glad you were able to participate in Show-and-Tell Friday and I do pray that you will have power returned quickly. It seems you are one of millions without ~
