I love you al so much and this is really like gooing through withdrawls I feel like I am cheating in the Girl's bathroom ....
We STILL do NOT have power, but I have pictures so hopefully by S&T Friday I will show you how we entertain ourselves in the dark!
PG&E called us tonight ( I am so impressed that they called) and said they hope to restore our power by Friday. Since you do not live in the area and since I do not know what has been on the news or not, I will tell you on Thursday night through Friday we had Strong Catagory 2 , light Catagory 3 Hurricane force winds. With 100ft pine trees, and wet ground, this was NOT a good mix. A tree on the corner snapped in half took out our neighbor's garage and shed (thankful it fell that way and not on her house. MANY fell on Houses! But it took out about 4 blocks of powerlines. This has happened all over town, so it is a wait your turn situation. We have a gas stove so I can cook, we have heat and hot water. The food is in the cooler on the front porch which has become our fridge so hooray for cold snowy temps. Since our Freezer was pretty empty, we didn't loose any meat, we just cooked it and fed us and Heather, Sam ad The Grandkids for three days. They are now at their house with electricity and I am cuddling on the couch in candle light with my beloved.
I do have a prayer request, since we had not seen the news, I did not hear about a manhaving a heartattack and driving full speed into a Walmart in Montrose CO. My Daugter-in-law was working at the photo dept at the time....the car smashed the jewelry dept causing shards of glass to fly and smashed the phot dept as well. Syrena was not physically harmed, but is suffering from Severe Post Traumatic Stress and feeling guilty that she ran on wings of Eagles out of the way. She isn't sleeping and sobbing a lot. Especially since they had to go to work the next day and people were treating the area like an amusement park...here is where the car skidded, here is where the bodies were. She just keeps falling a part. Please pray for her. (And my Son Matt, Her Mama and of course my granddaughter Kayla) We are rejoicing that no one was killed and for her safety. Her closest friend at work is still in shock, catatonic, her name is Tammy. So if you could keep them in prayer and those injured as well as the man who had the heart attack and his family as well. I do not know if the heart attack was fatal, I assume it was.
So That was my week. I can not believe I am missing out on yours! I will never catch up!!!
Hugs to all of you
Because of Jesus, Bobbie
