Show and tell, He is Alive
Every year our little town puts on a Passion Play called "He's Alive". They have been doing thisplay for 29 years now. They do four performances; one Friday Night, two on Saturday and one on Sunday Morning. This year everyone in the family had a part to play in it except me and the egg-colorer!

This is my wonderful Son-in-love Sam as John the Immerser. He was exuberant, over the top awesome!

Tirzah announces to the shepherds Jesus has been born in Bethlehem! You have no idea how this event struck me. I am used to my granddaughters being angels, but when did Tirzah become the Teen angel, head angel part??? No one warned me! Even Angels grow up so fast! Jadenis the striped Shepherd and Malachai is in the midst of them as well.

Zemeria is the front smallest angel and Kezziah the frontline tallest angel. Glory to God in the Highest, the multitude sings to the shepherds.

This is my favorite scene. Zemeira truly is the best "dead girl" they have ever had. When Jairus walks to Jesus carrying his dead daughter, you cannot see an eyelash flutter. Zemeira loves telling everyone she plays the dead girl! me I want to holler call 911! (Tirzah is in the turquoise and Kezziah in the orange on the right.

Zemeira leaps into Jesus' arms and the announce collectively goes..."awe!" Jaden is in the orange on the Left, Malachai in the purple on the right.

"Le the Chilrden come to me" Jaden says this is his favorite part because he loves it when Jesus tells them a story.

The crowd is gathering. There is news that Jesus is coming for Passover!

Jaden is searching the hills for any sign of the Messiah!

Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord!

And the Angels attended to Our God as He prays for what is to come and for us.

Believe it our not, someone stole Jesus' cross this year. My Beloved and Sam made this one less than a week before the play. The wood was more dense which made carrying this cross extremely difficult.

Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, He is risen!

Jairus' daughter is so excited to celebrate the Risen Savior, so holding still for a flag waving picture is out of the question.

The grace that Kezziah exhibits when she is dancing for Messiah is breath taking.

She gets it from her Mama!

Thank you for coming to our play; Jaden, Malachai, Zemeira, Kezziah, Tirzah and Ashley
I hope you enjoyed our Post Easter Show and Tell. Show and Tell is hosted by CanadaGirl so go by her site and see what else is waiting to bless you.

Oh, that was SO COOL! And a live donkey and everything! The outfits...everything looked so real from this side of the computer. My favorite picture was Jairus' DD hugging Jesus.
Oh, since I saw Tirzah in the play, it must be safe to say that she has fully recovered from her scary sickness a few weeks ago?

Bobbie, I loved these pictures.
I have to tell you on Palm Sunday, one of our pastors had wanted to ride in on a donkey. He found someone willing to bring in their donkey too, but it had never been ridden. So, he changed his mind.
I thought he should have given it a try to show just what a miracle it was for Jesus to ride in on a donkey on "which no one yet has ever sat." Does that sound devious? ;o)
