Show and Tell Kezzi
Show and Tell is Hosted byCanadaGirl who happens to live on the fringes of the garden of Eden! Man she takes amazing photos of her mountain! You WILL wantto go by and see them. You will also want to see the rest of what we have to share as well. We are a fun group of bloggin' girls.
My Show and Tell today is kind of a Tightwad Tuesday post as well since it all statrted with Bartering. The concept of bartering is "I will do whatyou need if you will do what I need." This adventure started with a couple pairs of pants and women that no longer sew. Ifix my Brother in love's clothes al the time. He has favorites and they need mending, his wife does not sew. Her step-father, George, asked her where she gets her husband's clothes fixed. She said me!
This led to a phone call and than a conversation on why he needs his favorite pants, he teaches golf lessons. Now I just happen to have a granddaughter that went to visit family friends wise enough to give clubs and balls to kids and set them out in the pasture. This proved something we had no idea about, Kezzi is good! She has never played even mini-golf. But she loves this!

The Lesson begins with the following statement to her mom "If she isn't good, the lesson is half an hour, if she is, an hour." Clear and exact. He is All Business!

He shows her how to grip her club and an address the ball.

"HELLO BALL!" meet Kezzi! First Ball.....

Empty bucket, more confidence.....

Amazing Follow through! "Are you sure this is your first lesson?" " I wish you were old enough to be on the High School team! You are better than all of them!" "Anytime you want a lesson you come down." (Saturday they hit the greens)

Kezzi began to draw a crowd. Her mama was so proud. This is where I should tell you how long her lesson was...
An Hour and a Half! So I guess she is pretty good. (Yes I am smiling from ear to ear)
Now I will tell you that a poorly spoken comment has always kept me from doing this. But my dad, he is amazing. Even at 78 he still walks all eighteen holes two- three times a week. He has a FOUR handicap. I can't wait for him to see his Great-granddaughter Kezzi!
Saturday she will get to step on the green for the first time in her young life. I can't even tell you how excited she is!
Ok this is my Show and Tell. Head over to CanadaGirl's Blog for more!

That is so neat! DD was like that with clogging. Usually, she wants to start something, then stop because it is too hard or frustrating. She found her niche in clogging, advancing to the advanced level before the end of her first year.
I wish your dd the best. I'm glad she is enjoying herself.

That is great that she got the lesson for free. I try to barter for a few things too--mostly plants.

Yay Kezzi!
How cool to have found her gift.
I hope your knees are a little better today. Keep us posted about the surgery and all. I'm sure you're a bit apprehensive about that. My cousin has RA and had both his knees done. It's amazing. He gets around so much better and wishes he'd done it sooner.
Have a good weekend,
tracy

I want to know who's taking the pictures here. Is that YOU behind the camera for an hour and a half. What a grandma!
And thanks for that home-remedy-keep-the-deer-away advice. I shall pass that along. He-he!

I love your story and the neat pictures. I am a little confused. If the Brother In Love is your BIL, then the woman who doesn't sew is your sister? And the Step-father is the BIL's dad? Anway, I love it! Good Luck Kezzi!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No, the woman that does not sew is the wife of my brother in law ( my husband's brother) If I really went in to details you would be more confused. So Erin my brother in law's wife , belongs to George who is her step-father . So no relation to me or to kezzi. I sure hope that clears it up a bit
Her step-father? So, he is your step-father or your Dad?
Still confused... But that's okay. I love the story.
