Tomorrow is Sunday and most of us would head over to SoCalVal's blog for our Sunday prayer list. However SoCalVal is off celebrating her 40th Birthday and that is so worth celebrating. Make sure you stop by and tell her Many Happy Returns of The Day.
I do have prayer requests That I was going to post there but instead I will post them here and if you would like to prayer over them, we would be blessed.
First, Tracy over at Kidcraze has a very sick little boy. Joe has pneumonia and he really needs your prayers. Having pneumonia is no fun; being a busy boy with pneumonia and having to stay put,,,,,that is no fun at all! Please go over to her blog and let her know you are praying.
Secondly MiryClay's sister has had a stroke which has stolen her memory. She remembers only the first ten years of her life. Not her husband, not her children. They are heartbroken for them all. Please pray the Lord restores what has been stolen and brings peace to all of them.
I have a doctor appt on Wednesday to figure out what we are going to do about my knee. Please pray that goes well, or like Acceptance with joy said "I pray that you love your orthopedic surgeon and have total confidence in his ability to perform the surgery. " That is a good prayer.
My husband is currently at the ER with his dad. Seems while we were THERE yesterday, that wasn't the right time for my FIL to get on the tractor and ask Mike to help him with a tree stump. No, today while he was there ALONE he needed to do that. So he is currently as I type this getting his ear sewn back on! Pray for him to heal, to not have broken any facial bones and not ave a concusion.
Pray for my husband Mike. His plate is pretty full just with me, his back is hurting and now he has his dad to deal with, plus the everyday stuff as well.
My friend's neice ran away from home last week, she is home safe and sound. But the family could use prayer as they figure out how to heal from all of this.
My daughter/friend Melanie has a doctor appt tomorrow about for her foot. She has had a lot of pain (it is less right now) he has discussed surgery and her husband is away overseas. So direction, healing, safety for her beloved. All are good!
If you want to add a need to the comments, please do and we will pray for you too.
James 5 :
- 13.
- Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray.
Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.
- 14.
- Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders
of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil
in the name of the Lord.
- 15.
- And the prayer offered in faith
will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.
- 16.
- Therefore confess your sins
to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Update on Mike's Dad
They had to not only stitch the ear, but the cartlidge as well. Six stitches to fix the cartlidge , eight to the outside and one on his scalp! And there was no concussion. We are very thankful. We moved out here six years ago so my husband would be here to help my father-in-law (who is 71) do these chores, but he did not tell Mike he was doing them yesterday. Eph 6: 18-19 18.And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
19.Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel

I was surprised to learn this morning that my girlfriend Alice had had a seizure yesterday, hit her head and was in the cubicle next to my Father-in-law getting stitches! What a night! She iswel, six staples later and resting. My FIL he is not resting and going about his daily routine.
Thank you Jesus for your care.
