The Bionic Bubbe
Well I did get to my doctor's appt. and after reading my MRI and taking a new set of xrays, it is settled. I need a new knee. So sometime around the end of the month I am have total knee replacement surgery,
His exact words after viewing my xrays were " You REALLY do have arthritis in your knees. (They always seemed surprised by this after nine years you think it wouldn't be such a surprise) Your right one is not too much behind your left!"
I am so grateful for your prayers because my visit with my new Ortho Doc was great. I had amazing peace and I am perfectly comfortable with him making me a bionic woman. I Know the Lord sent me to him. He had answers BETTER than I had imagined.
So we will take care of my left knee know and maybe around Christmas we will consider the right knee.
I really do appreciate your prayer, for me and for Mike. I love you all so much.
I will let you know for sure when I do.
When I came home, I showed the grandkids all the field trip brochures I had brought home so they would know what is going to happen. Jaden was the one that asked if I was going to be Bionic and wouldn't it be cool if I could Jump as High as the Bionic woman can jump. I told him that depends on how tight the surgeon tightens my ligaments. Hee Hee!
Because of Jesus, Bobbie

Bionic :) That's so cute! I'll pray that the surgery goes well & that, although bionic is probably out of the picture, you may soon be able to move around pain-free.
In Christ,

Just wanted to let you know that I have a 65 year old neighbor who had both knees replaced. One at a time, just like your going to do. Well, today she called me and asked if she could borrow my tree trimmer so she could cut away a bunch of vines out of her flower bed so that she could plant her flowers. She's been cutting her own grass and is planning on having one of the neighbors chop up a garden, so she can do some veggie planting. She is doing great and has not been sorry for one second on having the surgeries. Will pray for a speedy recovery and the other issues you mentioned. Talk later,
Josephine

Praying that the surgeries will go smoothly. How cute about Jaden wondering if you would be bionic - wouldn't that be fun!?! Remember the "bionic" sound effects that go with the running and jumping? I loved that. LOL
Blessings,
Kym

Ah, a new knee. Wont it be great to get a whole NEW body once we are in Heaven! These earthly bodies just don't last... I will keep you in prayer, my friend. Well, I just wanted to let you know that I'm home from my birthday vacation. Thanks for the warm wishes. Now, I'm off to do laundry and take a nap! I hope to get a post up soon... but I wanted to stop by and say hello.
Have a great day!

Praying for continued guidance my friend. (((((HUGS)))).
I had to laugh about the Bionic woman. Thinking that so showed the kind of time we grew up in. But when you said it was your gs that said it. I was thinking how in the world does he know about that. Or maybe mama has said things. hee he
Sending you a EXTRA BIG (((((HUG))))))
