Thank you so much for all your prayers. Tirzah is having such an adventure. She spent a day getting to know her team, they are all adults, she had her Bat Mitzvah last year, so she is too. hee hee! The Lord has blessed her as He put together this team. Two nurses and a doctor are going with her. That should calm her grandpa's and daddy's hearts a bit. They talked and shared about why God wants them on this team, they have a Bible Study they are working through together and Tirzah just glowed.They also went to the opening of The Refinery! Really Saddleback had a grand opening for their Teen building called the refinery. And it LOOKS just like a Refinery. You know be refined as silver and gold.... She was blown away by it and the fact they have about 3,000-4,000 HIGH Schoolers! It will be the coolest place in SO CAL for teens to hang out with their friends and Jesus. They had about eight bands, a X-Games BMX motocross champion, everything a teen would love.

Sunday they went to church at Saddleback. First Tirzah met a girlfriend there she had been with at Jews for Jesus Summer Camp . That is such a God thing! Now Tirzah lives in a town of 300. So walking into the Sanctuary was overwhelming to here. Seeing so many people worshipping the Lord in one place was like being in Heaven. The Sermon was about Trusting God. A young woman going to Africa came to Saddleback and God said...Tirzah, You can Trust me and not being like grown-ups, she does. Child-like faith is such a gift from God.

Yesterday she went to visit her Great Grandma in Huntington beach, and went boogie boarding for the first time ever. Did you know you can not collect seashells any more? What's up with that? That is taking environment stuff TOO far! She said there were so many on the other beach she went to, they were just broken pieces from crunching beneathe your feet. Tirzah did say it was okay to find sea glass and bring it home, so she did!

Usually when you go on a Mission Trip, there is a fun debrief thing to do to get you ready for re-entry. Tirzah seems to be getting a pre-brief. Perhaps it will be a good contrast for what is to come.

Lastly, as you can see by the ticker on the side of my blog , Tirzah had a good week of support. There is still a long way to go, but it is coming in and since 70% needs to be in by the end of this month, That is soooo good! You will also see a new button for Tirzah that was made by SoCalVal for her. She was so excited when she saw it.

Thank you for continuing to pray for her and for those of you that are TMI-ers..YES this is a Holiday inn team! hee hee! But the Mission, that is where the focus lies  and where the need is. Praising God.
