Posted in Tirzah hsp missions
What a week this has been! It began with with the First deadline! We had to have 70% of Tirzah's support in by the 28th. We had about 55% and no idea where it was going to come from at all. God has an amazing sense of humor so as the money is coming in, as Tirzah's dad is working on a sermon about worrying and as the days get closer to this being a reality..... God does what He does best, He builds our faith. Tirzah as of the deadline had 72% of the support she needed. I giggle over the two percent God adds incase my math was off and to show me and Tirzah, He has it all under control. She now has 77%. Which is great because she has to have 100% at the end of the month.
I told you Tirzah had to get shots on Friday and that she had a slew of them. Today we are picking up her malaria prevention Medication. She had one difficult night, but the rest was good.
Let me tell you about yesterday. Yesterday we went looking for boots for Africa! Boots she can tuck her jeans in, boots to keep her safe. It is Autumn in Nor. Cal. Do you know what are problem was???High Heels and Fur! Fur lined everything! Finding a boot with out a fur lining proved to be a challenge, but after four hours in five stores with six kids we managed to find them! They were at Sears , they have a touch of style of course we are talking Tirzah here...hee hee and are functional for jungle trails. We even got a ten dollar coupon which was a blessing and they were on sale!
My sister was so excited to hear Tirzah's fund raising was going so well and asked for prayer about her and Uncle Charlie's support as well. Please keep Chris and Charlie in your prayers as well.Their hearts and love for missions is great ( they will acually be returning to full time missions in Jan) so they can use all the prayers you guys can send up.
Hope you week is filled with Joy.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie
