Tuesday with Tirzah

I wanted to tell you one of the things that Tirzah has been doing That I have not mentioned before, well, I don't think I have. Over the last six months Tirzah and her mom have been having some of their friends making baby hats for her to take with her to the AIDS Orphans in Rwanda. One by one they have been mailed to her. She now has over 60 hats! She is so excited when one comes in the mail.

So the problem this has caused...A suitcase that will fit them and her clothes. Her birthday is next week, so her Great Grandpa's job (which she does not know about) is to find her an Expandable Suitcase. Since the Airlines only allow one suitcase we have had to come up with a creative way to bring these hats and Tirzah's underware to Africa! So we are thinking Expandable and Tuesday Morning for value.

My mom is here visiting And the thought of her great granddaughter going to Africa makes no sense to her. I am so glad it does to Tirzah. Pray that my Mom gets a glimpse of Tirzah's Passion while she is here.

The expandable suitcase reminds me of how the Lord worked miracles making wine from water and feeding thousands with one loaf and a fish. I am sure all that is supposed to get to Africa will get there. I am glad to know things are going well.

Only one! We got to bring two suitcases of 50lb each. And, a carry on that was 40lb. I packed all my clothes in a carry on and the other suitcases were full of donations. At the time it seemed like a pain. But, when it was all done... what a sense of accomplishment!
