Show and tell
What we did this week....
Our Week started withg Talia, our 3 1/2 year old spending the day and night with us while the rest of the family went to the Jews for Jesus headquarters in San Francisco for a concert and some networking (o:
Talia, Pa and I started planting our garden. It was a bit eary ( I still have a plot to do) but Talia loved it and so we did it.

Peppers Tomatoes corn and Marigolds have been moved to this garden to see if the sun will have a better shot at growing something here.

Talia's flower garden was already starting to sprout by Thursday!

Our Dogwood tree has more blossoms than it has ever had! Last year it had 5 flowers total!

I am so pleased with my Dogwood. We almost got rid of it a couple years ago!
The rest of the week was spent sewing. Heather came over and cut out lots of outfits and we managed to sew quite a few summer outfits. Here are a few pictures of a few of our creations!

We have two new skirts to dance in, usually Davidic, but it was wash the car with Pa day and they had their suits on so..Hula!

I think they liked them!

I really like this one! Sweet and simple...Did I mention JoAnn's had .99 patterns?
So There you go, that was our week highlights. I do hope you are having a blessed week too as we wind down the school year.
Show and Tell with Canada Girl is a wonderful way to discover what everyone is up to in this amazing journey called Home schooling. Head over there and see what everyone is doing!

Sweet dresses! I miss the dogwood tree we had when I lived in Maryland. I haven't seen any dogwoods in KS ... I wonder if they would survive if we planted some?

I'll bet Talia liked gardening with you!
This spring I divided my garden up so that everyone would have their own section to plant and tend to.
I like the dress and the skirts. The girls look cute!

How sweet! And a pretty garden besides. Spring must be here at last. :-) Our church's annual ladies' tea had a nice surprise for us this year---Jewish dance. I just love that kind of music and dance. They're going to offer Jewish dance class and if I'm around (and not at the homestead), then I want to sign up for the class. :-)

Your gardens are beautiful! The dogwoods in our area are so full this year. Just beautiful! I love the dresses! How pretty! What a wonderful grandma you are!
Yes I do believe the Lord guides us in our shopping. I always pray before going out and ask the Lord for prices we can afford as well as just the right stuff. We have been so very blessed. My oldests ds is getting married this summer. Finding the right dresses for myself and my daughters has been so fun.

Thank you for your encouraging words. My new dear daughter to be is of jewish heritage and a lovely christian gal. We are so blessed. The kids have seen the Lord work so much in the prep for their wedding. Free photography, discount flowers, discount cake. potluck reception, and so much more. We are praying for financial needs to be met for her school this fall ( my son got a full scholarship just a few weeks ago!) They both have two more years of school.God is more than able!
