Secret sister Happy Dance
Posted in SecretSisters2
There is the sound of squeqling in my home! I just came home from the dentist with an abcess tooth that will be removed on Thursday to a present from my Secret Sister. I will post pictures when Mike comes home to help
I can't begin to tell you how perfect this gift is. I have been struggling over what colors to paint my kitchen to match the copper tiles and how to incorporate the Vineyard Tuscan feel of my home. And These are perfect. Absolutely perfect! Wait til you see them... (sorry you have to wait til he comes home) Oh He is home Check this out!!!!

I do love to decorate for the fall and I have a Cornicopia and Pumpkin spice candles as well asa Turkey wreath. But I did not have a scarecrow and this guy is a doll! I love him! Did you notice how well it matches my chair?
Thank you my sweet Secret Sister. Thank you for the prayers for my teaching, and for the smoke and I am certain for Tirzah. I love knowing that you are out there. And I really love seeing you on my cbox. How cool is that! You bring me a spring of joy so often and always when I least expect it and most need it.

Leadership meetings and dinner engagements
Posted in SecretSisters2
There was a time in my life were this was typical of my schedule for me. I would be teaching two studies, meeting with women of leadership n the church, Teaching Sunday School, preparing for Home fellowship and planning a women's Dinner, Brunch or Luncheon. But that has been a while ago.
Yes i know Goats "But" and Sheep Follow. Thus the reason I am typing this and asking for prayer for me. I don't do that very often. I know what my heart desires is to be a conduit for the Lord. I want to show up, yet not be there, Oh if "self" would do the right thing and step aside for the King always. I love it when He teaches me while I share with them. I know I always learn the most.
So why the nerves? I guess because I really don't know even my helpers. We have a new Women's Ministries Coordinator, I know so few of the other Women Leading Studies this session, it starts next week and this is our first meeting together as a group.
I am prepared, I have done half of the Study already. I know the direction it is intended to go and open to the Leading of the Holy Spirit. The same can be said about my Speaking at Tomorrow Night's Women's Community Dinner. We are a small community and it is a dinner open to all the Christian Women in the area. My daughter spoke at it a few months back and I never planned on doing this at all. As a matter of fact even the topic is not mine. The Original Speaker canceled and here they were with everything printed, mailed and organized. So when I was asked, the Lord said yes and I did my best to fit heir plans. Tomorrow night I will know if the direction was right. Their is such a compilation of churches here and sometimes their hearts seem so dull and lack-luster where the Lord Jesus is concerned. Many of them see Christ as a social engagement rather than a relationship with their Lord, so prayer is needed.
On a physical note, there is a fire burning in the Mt Lassen National Forest and the wonderful breeze that we have missed so much has filled our sky and lungs with tons of smoke and I have grandkids with asthma. Today will be a tough day for all. So much smoke that it woke my husband up and caused him to go through the house looking for whatever could be burning.
Thank you so much for all your Kind Words and Prayers for Tirzah and for Matthew. Tirzah turned in her specimen yesterday and Heatherlee had to REMIND them to tellthe lab NOT to throw it out this time. Last time there was so much blood in it that the lab tech decided it wasn't a clean catch and TOSSED IT! Really he did! So we had to make sure that they knew NOT to do that again.
And on that note, I received a lovely card filled with prayers for our sweet Tirzah yesterday from my Secret Sister. There is something so comforting in having that card to hold in my habnds and know that someone is praying for me and my family. Thank you so much. I will share it wih Tirzah as well. You are such a blessing to me.

I am so blessed
Posted in SecretSisters2
My husband came home last night with the mail as always. We have a PO Box in town, so he brings it up the hill with him when he comes home. It took me a minute to see the package on the recliner, but the squeal of delight was heard at least next door when I found out it was from my Secret Sister.
My Secret Sister is such a blessing to me. Her Prayers mean so much to me. As i read her note I know she is lifting me up to the Lord and knows what is on my heart. She always choses the best scriptures. The one she added to her sweet heartfelt words today was Psalm 38 : 15 I wait for You, O Lord:You will answer O Lord my God.
Thank you for praying for what is dearest to my heart. My most loving and awesome Secret Sister.
So do you want to see my present?

Do you know what it is? A Plaque perahps? NOPE! It is so cool! Now look inside.

Have you ever seen any things so very cool?
Thank you so much my Secret Sister. I can hardly wait to know how you are.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie
You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound. Ps 4:7

I got a card from my Secret Sister
Posted in SecretSisters2
My husband came into the livingroom five minutes ago. He said" On I don't know who this is from, but you got this a couple of days ago it was ON MY DESK!" Can you believe that? I got this fabulous card from my Secrect Sister! Sweet Sister!!!
I am so sorry my husband thinks the desk needs to read my mail before I get it.
The words you wrote are so timely (yes he probably needed to hold it a couple of days so I would get it now, God's timing is perfect
) . It is so comforting knowing that somewhere out there you are praying for me. Tomorrow I go camping for four days with about 16 unsaved family members for FOUR DAYS! It was suppose to be us and four others, and they just kept asking more to come. I can handle the environment with small groups. So I am so Blessed knowing you sent me this card and bookmark, I will take the book mark with me so that everytime I want to scream will remember you are out there, praying! It really is just perfect! Thank you.

You asked if I got your first card, and I did. You must have missed the post, here it is, my 1st card from you. You did such a lovely job making it. especially for a first attempt! Thank you. I keep it next to my computer so I remember to pray for you too. I am so Glad the Lord has brought you into my life.
have a great Week-end. Because of Jesus, Bobbie

Everybody is home
Posted in SecretSisters2
I haven't seen them yet, except on my Daughter's blog. They all had a wonderful time! Kezziah and Chai were awarded Camper of the Year for their Cabins so they got to bring home their Cabin flags. Tirzah was Awarded the title Camp Prayer Warrior and made a new friend (which she is missing already). They will be over at lunch time. Thank you for praying for their trip home. Being the Homeschooling parents Sam and Heather they are turned their trip home into a field trip and went to Sutter's Mill.
Yesterday's Church service was on Phil. 2:1-8 yesterday. As we read verse 1 and 2 ....
1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
I found you all on my heart (Especially Heather, Tamara and Dawn) and I realized this is what HSB is for so many of us. We spend so much time Encouraging one another because we are united in Christ. We comfort one another with the Comfort the Lord has given us ( 2 Cor. 1:3-5 my life verse). This is why we go through the things we go through, so we are not merely sympathetic but have empathy for each other. What I have experienced many of you may also exoerience. What you experience I may experience. If not, we will know someone who is and share your expeiences with them. Doing this we find ways to comfort one another. I watch how the blogging community came to Especially Heather's blog to minister to her only to have her turn the tables on us! I watched how Tamara's loss of her sweet baby boy connected her with Melissa and her loss at the same time. Oh how they needed each other. And oh how it has stretched my prayer life. I know it has because I sit in service and the songs I sing and the scriptures I hear make me lift them to the Lord. When I went to Dawn's blog and read the results of her daughter's MRI my first wonder was has Dawn read Especially Heather's Blog? Oh how I want to comfort them.
Our fellowship in the Spirit with one another has us reading about each other's joys and heartbreaks on a daily basis. As our children and grandchildren go to the Mission field, discover poverty, racism, and slavery outside of their lesson books: see the ravages of sin and disease among the AIDS orphans of the world: as they pray for their furture mates and seek to follow God's plans for their lives: these triumphs of spirit cement our lives together. When our families discover that Free Will is also in Homeschooling families and our children walk away from the truths they have been taught, we know that our prayers for one another and God's Word will bring them back to Jesus! God's Word is true and we will tenderly and compassionately tell one another, you know I did that as a teen too and look a what the Lord has done in my heart. Nothing is impossible with God.
I just wanted to let you know that I love you and that you are DOING the Word of God. You are being like minded and having the same attitude as Christ. YOU are Completing Jesus' Joy, one keystroke at a time. I am so blessed to be in fellowship with you all! And I just wanted to tell you that today!
HAVE A BLESSED DAY IN JESUS!

Hip hip hooray
Posted in SecretSisters2
My Beloved came into the house tonight with the mail and there was a letter for me. I received a homemade card from my Secret Sister! It is the very first card she has ever made and I just love it!
It is so fun knowing that there is someone out there praying for me. I hope she knows how very much I love the card. And I also hope she will pray for the safe homecoming of the grandchildren tomorrow. It is a 10 hour drive round trip to their summer camp and home again. Heatherly and Sam and the kids will leave at 4:00 Am to pick the camping grandkids up by 10am.
Thank you my sweet sister for such a sweet card!

Secret Sisters Session Two and prayer
Posted in SecretSisters2
I just found out that Training hearts is sponsoring a Secret Sister Session for Homeschooling moms. I am told it is the second one and the first was very successful. I found that out from Rainbows from Heaven . The rules are posted at Training Hearts so if you would like to participate you need to sign up by May 19th. THAT IS REALLY SOON. So don't procrastinate.
But as fun as Secret Sisters are, even if you don't sign up, please go over to Training Hearts and leave her a word of Encouragement and say a prayer for them as she is in her 16th week of pregnancy and believes she may be suffering a miscarriage. Life is such a fragile gift and it is squandered by so many and desired wholeheartedly by others like Especially Heather (who still needs your prayers) and Tamara. Won't you please lift them up to our Heavenly father today. May He breathe new life in them.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie
