How Tirzah is today

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

You are all such a blessing to me and to my family. Tirzah is breathing easier today and she will probably be able to get her blood work done tomorrow. Her fever is going down as well. Her urine has changed from scary burgundy to reddish orange, so there is also less blood. Heatherlee is just about ready to pull her hair out. Poor baby is exhausted and I am not there helping her at all. I am leaving Sunday to go visit my sister in So Cal. so no one will let me get close to them. My sister had surgery last month and getting this flu would be a very bad thing for her. So I am kept away, Heatherlee is exhausted, the well children are being as helpful as the "Feel" like being. Please pray for her.

I love you guys so much Thank you for all your prayers, again and again.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie

I will be posting Hamantashen recipe soon, maybe for Show and Tell.

(hugs)

Emergency Prayer Request

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

Please take a moment and Pray for my Granddaughter Tirzah Lee.

She just got this yucky virus that is going around from her 5yo sister. For most it is just a yucky fever virus. We had hoped that would be true if Tiirzah Lee got it too, actually we prayed she wouldn't get it at all. We were wrong.

When one of the other kids gets sick she usually comes here and stays with her Bubbe and Pa, for some reason we didn't do that this time. So today she woke up sick , coughing with a fever.

Tonight, her urine is the color or deep burgundy wine. There is so much blood in her urine. Her mom emailed her Specialist but we haven't heard anything back yet. Please pray for her and her mommie. Actually all of her family The last time she was this sick in Sept it was a midnite run to the ER and Tirzah was vomiting blood.

You can read more about Tirzah on my blog , she has her own catagory. You can start here http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/bubbebobbie/315870/

Thank you so much I trust your prayers for you are all mighty prayer warriors.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie

This is the e-mail Heatherly got from Tirzah's Specialist tonight. We will be calling her regular doctor in the morning.
Watch her urine output. If urine output statrs
decreasing then we have to test kidney function test
and BP.If you can take her to primary care doctor to
check BP and test electrolytes and kidney function any
way that will be great.
God bless you and hope Tirzah feels better soon.
It is so awesome to have a Believing Doctor, knowing she not only does her  job, but they pray as well. There is great comfort in that and in all your prayers.
You are such a blessing to me. And thank you for praying about this and her Missions trip as well since she was suppose to ge more shots this week and they will have to be postponed again.
We serve an awesome God and He has always been faithful to His Children. And we are so Thankful for that truth.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tirzah has a doctor appointment at 1:00pm (In about an hour) They will take her blood pressure and then send her for blood and urine tests. Heatherlee had to call the office twice becase the receptionist didn't think it was necessary to tell the Doctor to call Heatherlee back.. Somethings about Small town life make me happy, some make me want to scream!
Thank you for all your prayers. Tirzah lee is such a trooper always smiling always trusting. Her day has been spent on the couch with the other "sickies" watching Pride and Prejudice and Emma! It Must be English Lit day !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Local doctor says, Tirzah lee has a bronchial infection, a sinus infection and is getting very little oxygen and sent her home with meds and an inhaler. She also said she wants Tirzah Lee's fever down before ordering any of her tests. Her BP was fine but Mike had to Argue with the Nurse over taking it!

Round Two will begin when Heatherlee explains this to the Nephrologist!

Thank you for your continued prayers. I need to re-read what I wrote about Patience yesterday for mine is limited right now.

I am thinking Chamomile tea???? If my daughter was still pregnant I would have stress tea in the house. But I don't!

Because of Jesus, Bobbie (((Hugs)))

You are so patient! Tirzah's Bat Mitzvah!

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

This will be a long post, for there is so much to share and so much you want to know. I will try to keep your hearts involved and even though the pictures at times are more than fuzy (I was holding the almost two year old on my lap at the time) The spirit of the photo is still very present.

Tirzah Lee is the first woman ever in our family to have a Bat Mitzvah. Her mother did not, I did not nor did any of the women before me. It just wasn't done. I have been asked about our Jewish root s as well. For most of my life they were hidden, mine and my husband's. Like many Jews in a new land, we were Catholic, that was safe and the litergy and the way the Catholic church so willingly faked Baptismal certificates during dangerous times made it comfortable, It is just the way things were done.

Preparation...It really didn't begin here, she has been preparing all year. But Here is Tirzah Setting up to light the Shabbat Candles.

You always light the center candle first, this is the Servant candle the Shamashim. This candle always represents Yeshua and how He ignites us for service.

Blessing over Candles
Hebrew
Barukh atah Adonai, Eloheinu, melekh ha'olam
Blessed are you, Lord, our God, sovereign of the universe
Hebrew
asher kidishanu b'mitz'votav v'tzivanu
Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us
Hebrew
l'had'lik neir shel Shabbat. (Amein)
to light the lights of Shabbat. (Amen

Tirzah's daddy, Pastor Sam is holding her Microphone.

She looks so small standing with these men before the congragetion, before the Lord.

The Torah scroll is opened and with her precious Yad a gift from Miss Sue She begins to read it.

Genesis 1 In the Beginning, so graceful and confident  and so small as her daddy on the right and her grandpa (my Beloved) next to him watches over her (in more ways than one).

I won't point out her grandpa's tears, (oh yes I will :) They are both so proud.

I lift up my eyes to the Hills......

Today I am a woman, but that does not mean I am leaving my parents' house. Giggles all around!

She wove in stories of her life, how she asked the Lord into her life etc. Oh how I love them and her!

Then as a woman she presented her causes to the congregation. She hared how she is praying for those in Darfur and how now her Uncle is a pastor to many of the Lost Boys of Darfur. The 1,500,000 stands for the children Killed in the Holocaust. She is making and collecting butterflies for the Houston Holocaust museum.

This is also when her grandpa prayed over her and read Psalm 121 over her for the second time in her life.

So open to the Messiah's charge.

Her first dance as a Woman of Harie Yeshua's Congregation.

Leading the Horah while holding the Torah Scrolls as they end the Bat Mitzvah portion and begin Simca Torah service!

I know the picture quality is bad and they are dancing so fast, but the joy on Zemeira's face dancing behind her daddy never left her face all night. She and Kezziah love to dance for the Lord. And I love watching them.

You have all been so loving and so patient. Thank you for sharing in our joy. Mazel Tov Sweet Tirzah Lee!

Tirzha's Bat Mitzvah Present from her mama

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

Heatherlee has been working on Tirzah's Bat Mitzvah present for MONTHS now. It is the loveliest Shawl I have ever seen in my Life. Tirzah's Torah Portion is Genesis 1 Creation, and mama wanted it to radiate like the sun and like Jesus in her daughter. To say she succeeded is an understatement. It was completed last night, just in time for Friday's main event.

I would love to share it's beauty with you. Go here Heatherlee's Blog to see it.

I went shopping for portions of our present for Tirzah Today. She is getting so many jewelry Items I figured I needed to go another route. And acknowledge the "growing up" aspect of this ceremony. I can't show you today what we bought and what we made, but I will be able to by Saturday! Hee hee!

But You can see her present  from her mama now.

And you can read More about Tirzah's Bat Mitzvah here as well.

When time surprises you

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

I can vividly remember the moment they first placed my daughter in my arms and the moment I saw her first daughter in her arms. It really  does seem like yesterday, but it was not. Where does the time go? I remember summers lasting forever between the 7th and 8th grade; now they are fleeting from one event to the next.

Which brings me to the purpose of this entry today; our Tirzah Lee the one you pray for so often is about to have her Bat Mitzvah. The day she stands before the congregation and reads Torah; The day she takes her place among the women of the congregation has arrived. She will stand before me and say the traditional "Today I am a woman" Maybe in God's eyes, but in my eyes her mommie is still a little girl.

I have known this day was coming, I mean we have been preparing for it all year with Hebrew Classes, she is always revising and rewriting her speech. Her Torah Portion is "I had the Hebrew word here but HSB censored it, how funny" Genesis Chapters 1 and 2. How fitting for the first born.

I knew it was coming closer as we prepared announcements. Announcements are the proper way as it is a Mitzvah and according to "Tradition" it is a sin to refuse an invitation (Thus the reason for utter disgust in the parable of the Wedding Banquet in Matthew 22:1-14). SO you announce it not wanting to cause someone to sin.

Our assembly line shows I knew it was coming. Stamping, Printing, Cutting, punching and ribbon tying one step at a time a hundred times over!

Diligently the worked to honor their sister. I am certain Kezziah it dreaming of her's as well, Is it also only a year away??? Time does surprise me.

What is she thinking as she punches holes in the paper and ties these ribbons which tie the papers together and fastens her heart to G-d. Her future is in His hands and her heart is fully HIS. All too soon she will be watering camels.

Her announcement looks like this, on Burgandy card stock tied with various colors of ribbon.

Time has a way of sneaking up on you and surprising you.

As Frustaring as these moments of homeschooling can be at times, treasure them. They will become the moments you ponder in your heart as Mary did.

Congratulations Tirzah Lee!

Heatherlee writes about Tirzah

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

As a mom you hope and pray that of all the things you teach your children, the one thing they grab on to and find for themselves is Jesus and his loving faithfulness. You want them to know prayer is the key to everything.

When you see it become real (like the Velvetten Rabbit) two things happen... Praise because you know they "Got It" and pain because the have to "Exercise it"

My daughter has given this gift to me today in this post.

If you want to know how to pray ,read her post. It says it all.

What is hsp??

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

I have a link in Catagories that is suppose to work It does when I go to the Catagory manager, but not on my page...Mary???

Anyway a lot of you have asked about HSP. So here is an old link hat should help.

http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/bubbebobbie/315870/

Thanks for asking. It really is uncommon and her severity is also very rare. They have guess to the cause, In Tirzah case, the flu. and even few guess as to the treatment.

What I discovered his weekend is

1 you guys are mighty prayer warriors

2 I am not the only one having a trial of this magnitude.

So while you guys are finding some time for prayer...

Timbuck2mom has a son dealing with unexplained Seizures

2Peter318's beloved is waiting on MRI results

Kelli is in the hospital with major infections attacking her body

and those are just the ones from THIS weekend.

The enemy must be quaking in his boots because he has no idea the prayer power at the ends of our fingers tip in blogland.

I am sure there are so many I don't know about, but the Lord does and He is faithful.Thank you that one of the ones you knew about God put on your heart to pray for our Tirzah. We are so grateful.

Because of Jesus, Bobbie (and Tirzah and family)

And the current status is...and Heatherly's perspective

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

This is what Heatherly says on her blog (plus a Picture of Tirzah) http://yarnyenta.blogspot.com/

Below is the result of the last Dr D visit...

All of her tests say there is nothing wrong apart from her HSP. So...take her home and if it happens again bring her back!!!!

She is feeling better. I am feeling frustrated with the doctors here and Heatherly is calling UCDavis to find out what she should do next.

They are all home napping right now I think. Jaden is testing my patience in new and marvelous ways. Kezzi is the best helper in all the world and has made and put up her firs Apple Butter! Chai has had is with his math today, the two little ones have just gotten out of their bath so they are dressed for this evening.

I think the current game plan is Tirzah will stay here with me and everyone else wil go to shoul.

URGH!

Update...Our Rosh HaShana Service was tonight and the worship melted my frustration wit the Doctors. Somewhere in the midst of me realizing they don't know what happened or what fixed her I thought...well you did ask for prayer right? And you did ask for the Lord to heal here right? And she is better tonight isn't she? Well, maybe what I need to doing is saying thank you to YOU for praying so faithfully for our Tirzah and Thank God because she actually is better tonight.

Heatherly had been talking to a friend the other day about how when we are afraid, (like when you go to the ER) we tend to giggle instead of Cry. We save crying for the after the crisis relief session . Last night she didn't do that, she fell into her daddy's arms and sobbed. Mike had todrive her to the ER. Kezziah came in last night and she sobbed as well. That was a new emotion for Heatherly she is usually so guarded. But the sight of the blood clots and the amount of blood she discovered coming from Tirzah was so much for my little girl to deal with. Sam was the hero, made her leave the bathroom and go make the needed phone calls. Their congregation had people there praying before Heatherly even arrived. Very cool! When Tirzah finally woke up this morning she was fine. Praise the Lord.

Prayer is a wonderful gift from the Lord and your friendship is golden! Thank you so much.

James 5:16

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Emergency prayer!

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

Heatherlee and Sam are taking Tirzah to the Emergency room. She has diarrhea and was vomitting, now she is vomiting blood! Please go before them Lord. Pray that the ER is empty that they see her right away. Pray that Heatherlee can get a hold of her specialist in Sacramento. Above all pray the Lord Heals her. He is our great Physician.

Because of Jesus, Bobbie

Update 10:45pm Mike called and says they were seen right away. They gave her a shot to stop her from throwing up and they have already taken x-rays. They have sent for her records from UCD and notified her doctor there. Her blood pressure is good which is a blessing. They are doing more tests through the night. Pray that if she has to swallow anything for her tests, that she is able to do it and to keep it down. Thank you for your prayers my SSiC!

Morning update

First thank you all for praying. It has been a long night for Tirzah , Sam and Heatherly. All the kids with me slept peacefully and are just now waking up. Even Talia slept all night.

Tirzah did not. She had an evening filled with XRays, Ultrasounds, IVs and lots of lab tests.

They gave her meds to help her not throw up which calmed it but didn't stop it so they gave her something else in her IV. With all the tests they preformed, the conclusion was to send her to her specialist this morning. They believe this is somehow related to her hsp. Which means they couldn't find anything!

So I will have the babies all day long Sam and Heatherly will take Tirzah to UCDavis, Sam's assoc. Pastor will have to lead Rosh haShana services and they will miss the worship concert this evening Unless they are back in time. And I have a house filled with cookies for tonight's service.

Now when I say I will have the grandkids, that is how it is! Mike and his dad leave for their annual trip today and will be gone all week-end. They plan for this all year and they do have cellphone coverage as well. So as you can see we all need your prayers today.

Thank you so much for all you prayers and words of encouragement this morning! I love you guys!

 OOPS Scratch that!

I misunderstood. They have an appointment with their local doctor right now at 11:40 so they won't be driving to Sacramento. The Doctor they are suppose to see is not in today (of course) and they are seeing the one they have had battles with so pray that he does his job well. Heather made sure they knew she would see him but she would not take any cr*p from him today.  Tirzah did through up one last time and this time it was dark coagulated blood not bright red so tha is good too.

Pray Pray and Pray

I will post again this afternoon when they return.

Spending the night at bubbe's

Posted in Tirzah hsp missions

Tuesday night we had a sleep over. Kezziah, Chai, Jaden and Zemeira spent the night. We read Stories and watched Discovery. We bar-b-cued Chicken and since in was Tuesday night we had our "try something new" from the Farmers' Market. Our try something new had them guessing for a while as to what it could be, it was Fried Green Tomatoes and everyone tried them and liked them. In this family that is called a miricle food! For dessert we had Ice Cream and cookies. We played Hi Ho Cherry-o the next day and worked on our Math placement tests to see what needs reviewing. For a treat after lunch we watched Sky High. The timing was perfect since Mommie, Daddy, Tirzah and Talia arrived at the end of it.

You may notice that Tirzah did not spend the night. Well that is because it was time for her return trip to UCDavis. She had to be there at 9:00am which is why everyone spent the night instead of being dropped off at 5:00am  She has had such a good summer, but last week she had a three day Migraine which we thought may have been her blood pressure, but it wasn't. they did her urine tests and the blood amounts were high (but not as high as last time) And her joint pain has them running extra tests (five vials of blood later) personally I think it is just heightened growning pains mixed with the HSP. I was hoping after this summer they would have said great job see you in six months, maybe a year...not so. Instead she has to do a new urine test next week, to see if the blood in her urine was connected to her headache/virus?  If not, they are discussing the need (which they have mentioned before) to do a Kidney Biopsy to see the extent of the damage her HSP is doing to her kidneys. Her next appt. is the day after Christmas. I guess depending on next week's test and her blood results, that is when they will discuss the need for the biopsy if it is needed. Please pray it is not needed.

Her mommie's post last night was very clinical, matter of fact which means she is processing and in need of prayer.(Yes I am Tattling on her) If you want to go by her blog, Yarnyenta and let her know you are praying for Tirzah and for HER. That would be awesome.

If you do not know about Tirzah and her HSP, I have a TIRZAH catagory on the right. >>>>>>>>

Thank you for praying for my granddaughter.
