We trimmed some of our goats’ hooves. We think their hooves have never been trimmed before. Yesterday Jenna got spit at by the llama and got it on video. My dad got a fuel tank.
Are any of your goats giving milk yet? Goat milk is very good!! I used to get it at the Health Food Store. But, one time, I got some that had been tainted by the musk odor of a male goat!! I have not had any since!! So, make sure to keep any male goats away from the place where you do the milking!
You kids are getting such neat experiences with all the different animals you have.
Is it hard to trim goat hooves? Today I am taking Spartacus in to get his nails trimmed. His toenails are too big and hard for me to clip by myself!!
He had known the fellow that is clipping his nails since he was a tiny puppy. This fellow has a dog grooming salon here in the neighborhood. He and his wife are very nice. They like Spartacus a lot.
Soon you will have lots of nice goat milk!! In a few weeks my chickens should start laying eggs. I hope they do anyhow, Grandpa Rick threatens to eat them if they don't start laying eggs pretty soon!!
