Thank you Christina, (aka quietcajun) from The Perils of Parenting. I am humbled and amazed at your love and generosity across the miles. You are truely a blessing!
The beautiful handmade baby afghan arrived wrapped in tissue paper, tied with grosgrain ribbon, and accompanied by a handmade card (with more ribbon, and other sweet touches, including a photo of Christiana's lovely family, which we shall treasure).
It sounds cliche, but pictures really don't do the blanket justice--it is crocheted from such wonderful fluffy yarn, and in beautiful open pattern, making it sumptuously soft.
Kieran must feel he is wrapped in a cloud!

Christina over at The Perils Of Parenting ...was so kind and thoughtful to bless our little Noah with his very first baby gift; she lovingly and prayerfully made him this beautiful baby afghan!

What could it be? A package for me? What fun, what joy! And look what was inside!
Isn't it pretty? Christina, a fellow homeschool blogger, took the time, energy, and love to make it for Chloe- someone she has never even met! Thank you so much, Christina- it is gorgeous! In case anyone is wondering, she is starting a business doing afghans... they would make lovely gifts, and believe me, she does a great job! It's 100 degrees here in Illinois, but I had to put it up to Chloe just for a minute to show how pretty it is....(we will get plenty of use out of it in winter!)
