Jan. 20, 2009 - President Barack Hussain Obama
Wow, what an historic event. Like him, Love him, or not, He is our President. He is an eloquent man, seemingly humble in assuming the duties of the President of the United States. An awesome responsibility. May God give him wisdom, patience, compassion, and perserverence in this journey that he has begun. May we all continue to pray for God's guidance in his choices.
Happy Inaguration Day to all!

Jan. 10, 2009 - God's blessings on my Life
Well after having lost a baby in the fall, God has given us another opportunity to seek Him, and trust Him. We are expecting a blessing September 1, 2009.
While losing our baby was sad and somewhat difficult, God blessed us throughout. Our 15 yos has never been happy to hear that we were expecting again, and after the loss of our baby, even he seemed sad. When we announced on Dec 23, that we were expecting again, he said, "Hold on a minute, I have to text all my friends." That is just one of the blessings that God chose to bestow upon us. Trust me there were many more.
Rooted in Faith in that;
God knows what is best for me, wants what is best for me, and He is willing and able to do what is best for me.
Even when I don't understand how in the world this is the best for me. I know that when I get to heaven, I will be happy to greet her there. Thanking God that He always does what is best for me.

Jan. 9, 2009 - God's Pharmacy
A friend sent this to me. It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish.. all before making a human. He made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These are best &more powerful when eaten raw. We're such slow learners...
God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body!
God's Pharmacy! Amazing!
A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.
Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.
A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.
Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.
Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.
Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (mo dern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.
Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actual ly bal ance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries
Oranges, Grapefruit, and other citrus fruits look just l ike the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.
Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

Dec. 1, 2008 - School, School, and more School
I am so thankful that I get to teach my children at home. What a precious gift. I am thankful for a new washer and dryer that works so well that I have more time to do school with my children and less time to worry about the laundry that keeps piling up. In the two days since we hooked up the new washer and dryer, I am completely caught up on laundry. Washed, dryed, folded, and put away. Yeah. More free time to sit and read to my children. I am a happy momma.

Jul. 28, 2006 - Stress, Stress, Stress
Why is it that we allow ourselves to worry. The Lord commands us not to. So why do some of us find it so difficult to not worry. Things have definately not gone as I have planned in regards to closing on our new home. We originally asked for a closing date of July 17, then the 24, then we were told probably the 25, then definately by today the 28, and now today, there are problems and we may not close till the 31, if we close at all. Pray that we will be okay with whatever the Lord decides for us. We just put everything into this house financially right now, so we are in dire straits if this is not what the Lord wanted for us. Pray that the stress levels would lower as the heat has not and we are all tensed up, because we need to be out of this apartment no later than Monday the 31. I still have to clean both places and cannot move our stuff into it before we have to be out at this point. I know that I am probably not staying focused as I tend to ramble on and on. I guess I am just using this as a way of venting, and hoping and praying that I will be able to maintain a calmness, so that I do not rant on any of my children, who don't have any idea of the kind of stress that my husband and I have acknowledged as ours. I guess we really need to let go of it and truly give it to God. He can handle it of that I am sure. Its just that in that place of uncertainty, I have a hard time giving him the "CRUD" that I feel like I should be concerned over. I realized logically, that there is no point in mulling over it as, my mulling isn't changing anything, and there is absolutely nothing in my control that I can do that I haven't already done. So instead of more ranting I think I will go sing praises to my Lord, and put my focus on Him which is right where it should have been in the first place. Off to go singing. Hope y'all have a GREAT day! I intend to make mine the best that it can.

Well it appears as though the Lord is Blessing us with a Home and more Family. We are closing on our house to be home on July 25, and we just found out that we are expecting yet again. This makes 7 for us. Pray the Lord's continued blessings upon us as we move from our apartment to a new home. Looking forward to another child from the Lord.

May. 22, 2006 - Blessings
I just love the way the Lord continues to Bless us. This week he has answered prayer many times with a resounding blessing. This week there were many yes', in regards to healing.
All the things that I am thankful for this morning. I am thankful that The Lord Blessed me with a family that LOVES me, even when I behave unlovely. I am thankful that I have my husband, who is truly my other half that I could not live without. Day in and day out, he keeps encouraging me to be a better wife, a better mother, and all around a better woman, helping me to seek the Lord's council, and reminding me that although my nickname means "perfection" that I am not perfect, nor will I ever be, but that the Lord made me just the way he did for a purpose, and that purpose is to Glorify Him.
I am thankful that I have so many children, and the heck with all the people who keep saying, "You're not going to have anymore, are you?" or "You're finished now right?" Don't they understand that children are all blessings from our GOD. Why are they made out to be a nuisance, why are they a hindrance for some people? Praise the Lord, I don't hold that opinion. Sure not everyone is called to have as many as me, but did God say be fruitful and multiply, but only have 1 or 2 children each; or You need to be careful, your having to many children, your going to use up all of your precious resources, I can't handle what your doing to the earth, you have way too many children. Do you think of any body besides yourself when you decided to have that many children. Wow what is wrong with all these people who have no clue what a blessing from heaven children truly are?

May. 9, 2006 - Look Colors Came Out
"Mom, Come quickly" exclaimed my princess this evening.
With all the excitement she could muster she wanted me to see the sunset. This is the first time she ever noticed how wonderful God's handiwork is, all on her own. I came into the living room and she showed me all the wonderful colors, saying do you see the purple, and the pink, and the blue, and the orange. Isn't it beautiful. And I said it is gorgeous, doesn't God paint beautiful pictures. And we hugged and watched the sunset. What wonderful blessings I received this evening.
Also a happy birthday to my sister in CA. Hope its been a great day.

Mar. 10, 2006 - Dinner Tables
Does anyone use them anymore? My teenage son was complaining to me because we use ours together every night. If someone is going to be late, then we eat late. If we need to eat earlier, then we eat early. What is so wrong with the idea, of eating a meal together? My son said that in his class there were only two other kids who ate occasionally with their parents, like maybe once a week. So he feels that because we eat together daily, its a punishment because nobody else does it. Punishment, I am so frustrated with the world. That it has become punishment to enjoy a meal together, discussing our days is beyond disbelief for me. I think the question we should be asking is what has happened to this world, that eating dinner together is not something that is normal, and is considered punishment?
Well I guess God calls us to be different from the world so here I am, punishing my children, refusing to give up eating together and going against the "norm".

Mar. 8, 2006 - Patience and Blessing
Well, every day is a new day.
THANK GOD FOR THAT!!!
Sometimes I think I really don't have enough patience to deal with the situations in my life. You know the ones that I have no control over,
LIKE ALL OF THEM! ![]()
And then God blesses me in ways I cannot fathom. My life has definately not always been a joy ride. But sometimes the rollercoaster effect of being dropped say 10 stories in 5 seconds just gives you a whallup you weren't expecting.
My son was supposed to come home from his father's today, but he missed his flight. I was called immediately, and reacted calmly, saying"okay". I wasn't sure if I was going to be so calm come morning but morning came and I was still calm. You see I know that GOD is in charge of everything that goes on in my life. Even things that don't go as planned.
Anyway the blessing wasn't just my having patience with a situation that I wasn't expecting, it came from hearing about a conversation that took place between my son and his father on the way home from the airport.(That I never would have gotten to hear about, without having been patient, (my REWARD)) My son said, "Dad, you know their is no such thing as coincidence, God has a plan." To some that might be something insignificant. But it made my day.
If you read this. I LOVE YOU BOO!

Mar. 7, 2006 - What a Great Gift
Well today we celebrated three years with our beautiful daughter. Thanking the Lord for her presence in our lives. I can only imagine, now as the mother, what my mother felt, each time one of us celebrated a birthday. I love each of my children, every day. But on their birthday, it is the day I celebrate them. So to my one and only little princess.
My MONKEY:
You have the most amazing blue eyes, they match your daddy's.
Your red hair is spectacular, not to brassy orange, and not to dull auburn, just the perfect combination. Your creamy skin, with just enough freckles to be kisses from heaven. I thank the Lord for you every day but today I am reminding you that I thank Him for you, my gift. I hope you had a terrific birthday. I am glad you liked your gifts: your dress, your doll, your pepperoni and pineapple pizza and your chocolate cheesecake.
I love you. You are a great gift.

Jan. 27, 2006 - DID GOD CREATE EVERYTHING?
DOES DARKNESS EXIST??
The university professor challenged his students with this question.
"Did God create everything that exists?"
"A student bravely replied, "Yes, he did!"
"God created everything?", the professor asked. "Yes, sir," the student
replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created
evil, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works
define who we are, then God is evil."
The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor, quite
pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once
more that the Christian faith was a myth. Another student raised his
hand and said, "Can I ask you a question professor?"
"Of course," replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Professor does cold exist?" "What kind
of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?"
The students snickered at the young man's question. The young man
replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of
physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat.
Every
body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy,
and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy.
Absolute zero (-460 F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes
inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not
exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no
heat."
The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does."
The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not
exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we
can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to
break
white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each
color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break
into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark
a
certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this
correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when
there is no light present."
Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" Now
uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said.
We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to
man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the
world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."
To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it
does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is
just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe
the
absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or
love that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of
what
happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's
like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that
comes when there is no light."
The professor sat down.
The young man's name --- Albert Einstein

Jan. 27, 2006 - Dedicated to the man I LOVE
If Love...
If love is caring; Then I will care for you,
If love is sharing; Then I will share with
you my wants, needs, and desires, my life and who I am,
If love is joyful; Then I pray to bring joy into your life,
If love is honest; Then I will be truthful always,
If love is hopeful; Then I hope to have fun
with you for the rest of our lives,
If love is wanting; Well, I desire you mind,
body and soul,
If love is faithful; Then I will be true to you and to the promise I make to you now,
If love is giving; The I give to you, myself,
If love is commitment; Then today, before God
and Man I commit to you my heart, my life,
and my love, all that I am or ever will be.

To always be faithful and true to you,
To share with you my innermost thoughts,
my hopes and my desires,

To be obedient all the while,
Sunshine or rain, smiles or pain,
To walk beside you come what may,
To be committed until death,
Now and Forever I say I do.

Jan. 25, 2006 - Thanking God for a godly Husband
What a blessing to have a husband who wants to please God.
Yesterday our eldest son was suspended from the high school for a zero tolerance action, in what was an opportunity moment, my husband made the most awesome choice of just loving our son.
In my son's words," I expected that dad would have come home and grounded me until I turned 18, saying that I would be the "personal slave" of mom, cleaning everything from now on."
When he came home, he went to the kitchen as usual and dropped his lunch box and thermos, and then he came to our son and said, "STAND UP", and then he put his arms around him and hugged him, saying," You had a bad day, didn't you?"
That was that, we discussed why what happened happened, and guided him to just continue to be honest in the events that will follow.
Other father's might have come home to add to the horrible day that their son had, but instead he sought out what would our father in heaven do, and did just that. There are consequences, but they don't all come from us.
An opportunity to learn the right thing to do and why its the right thing to do, hopefully for each of us. Learning to be a family that seeks God in all that we do.

Jan. 20, 2006 - Oh be careful little eyes what you see...
Life is to short to not live it abundantly, why does Satan always try to trick us into believing that we are missing out on something if we don't fall to his temptations. Yet again, I have had a conversation with my teenage son, who seemed to think that I was against him, his music, his friends, and everything he likes personally. He was under the impression that I just didn't want him to watch a certain movie, that his friend said was good, and didn't understand that I don't want to watch it myself. I tried reminding him without lecturing, that that old childhood song that says Oh be careful little "eyes, ears, mouth, and hands" what you "see, hear, say and do" isn't without merit. Though we can do whatever we choose, and we won't lose our salvation, we shouldn't abuse that Liberty in Christ.
We should all be careful what we see, read, watch, hear, listen, say, and do, and we should make sure that whatever it is, it isn't SIN. SIN, is prevalent in our world, the newest movies, the new song everyone thinks is cool, the book that just came out. PARENT or CHILD we ALL have to be careful what we renew our minds with. Romans 12:1-2 NLT (1) And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice--the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? (2) Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is. Would it be cool to share the lyrics to the new song with Christ, would you be happy to sing it to Him? We should be able to do that. That is what "WWJD" is all about. We should be disgusted when we "see a movie" or "read a book" or "listen to a song" or "whatever" that sin is going on, it should repulse us to the point that we stop watching, reading, listening, or whatever to it.
May we as adults, be the witnesses for our children, so that they learn why we do what we do, and stop living the well I am an adult so I can "handle" it. Yet another LIE Satan has handed us that we have accepted.
After our conversation with our son, he asked if he could download music onto his ipod. My husband gave him permission to do so. I asked which cd's of my husbands did he want to download after looking at them I said which do you think I think are acceptable, and which do you think I might have a problem with? I told him that he was able to download them all as he had permission from his father to do so, but that I wouldn't listen to one of those cd's no matter how much money I would be given, because of its content. After I told him what the cd was about, I was impressed that he, on his own, chose not to download that cd even though he had the approval to do so from his father.
I love that God is at work in our home.
