For our first week of preschool we had a Bird theme. Here's some fun stuff we did.... 

Here's Lorelai with her bird nest made out of rice crispy treats with yummy jelly bean eggs.

We made bird feeders by spreading peanut butter on pinecones and rolling them in oats.

For Bible we studied Genesis and learned about creation. We made oatmeal dough and attempted to mold it into different animals. Here's my attempt at a rabbit...you don't want to see my elephant! LOL

For art she painted with evergreen branches.

Our first week was very successful and extremely fun. Lorelai wasn't too thrilled at first, but always ended up enjoying herself. One of her favorite things that we did was get on-line to listen to bird songs. It was neat listening to all the different unique sounds. It made me think of how creative our God is!
