Nov. 24, 2009 - Ouch to me - The Countdown Continues

So, last night I was stampeding walking through the hallway and I guess I bent my toe backwards, now below my toenail is dark purple and the rest of my toe is red and blue.

Nov. 4, 2009 - On a calander, I am weighed down, chained, slowly dragging myself towards December.

So, Taylor, Hailey, and I must have gone crazy. We're typing up Lord of the Ring on our computers. We're going to act it out.

I had a flute competition on Sunday. I WON.

Taylor, Hailey, and I played our instruments at a church.

My birthday's in a few days. about 20-something days.

Taylor did nursery at church last Sunday. Hailey's doing nursery this week, and me the week after that.

Taylor also is a little sick.

We're going to the Annie Moses Band concert this Sunday!

We have a day off of school today.

Taylor and Hailey got me seasons 3 & 4 of I Love Lucy for my birthday!

Oct. 15, 2009 - Polly put the kettle on, Polly put the kettle on, Polly put the kettle on, we'll all have tea. Suki take it off again, Suki take it off again, Suki take it off again, we won't have tea.

Hi! Well, on... when was it? Thursday night I got a sore throat. It got worse that day, but not too bad. Then, it was the same on Friday, and Saturday. On Sunday it turned into a cold, and it was a worse cold on Monday. On Tuesday we went to this man's house who had built a Western Town in his backyard. He acted in Western movies. Nothing much happened on Wednesday, except Momzy started getting sick. Right now, Hailey's at violin lessons, Taylor's watching The Fellowship of the Ring's behind the scenes, and I'm watching The Return of the King.  Tomorrow we're going to the STATE FAIR!

Oct. 6, 2009 - Hailey and Taylor want me to Update

Taylor and Hailey want me to update so, I told them, if they say that one more time, I'll say, "How's the weather where you are?" So...

How's the weather where you are?

Sep. 9, 2009 - Pennywhistle Number 2

I had to get a new pennywhistle because the old one... the sound just wasn't right, we don't know what caused it. Here's a picture of the new one.

Aug. 8, 2009 - Fishing

Dad, Hailey, and I just got back from a park. We were fishing, well, attempting to. It was just so hot! Our boat was so slow, too.  So, we had to start paddling. Eventually, Hailey thought that her hook got caught on a post in the water, but, she actually got a catfish. It was too small to eat.  So, we let it go. No one else got a fish so, Hailey won. Then, we left, and had hot dogs for lunch.  Now we're home, in the nice, cool house, and now I'm not hot anymore.

But...

I'm getting over a cold, I'm still sniffley, though. And my ear is hurting. Because of my earing, and INside it.  Ick.

Aug. 3, 2009 - Taking for Taying

O', o' the small and ferocious animals that slip underneath the doorways.

Yesterday, we (meaning Taylor, Hailey and I) played (played meaning flute, piano, and violin) at our great-grandmother's funeral. It all went well, but, like Taylor said in her entry, we hardly knew any people there... let me count... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, about six. Not including my parents. No wait, 7... uh, about seven. Maybe more; I don't know. I'm going to copy Taylor's entry now and do the book thing, too.

Jun. 27, 2009 - My Books

So, me, my dad, and my sisters went to Target. Taylor had some giftcards that she wanted to use. So, we went home, and, in the mail was a package. I showed it to Hailey and said, "You see? Here it is. I told you it would be here! You didn't beleive me but here it is! Here is it! You see it! I have it." Then I brought it inside and I felt the package. There's only one book in here, I thought. Mom said, "Well, it may be Hailey's ---" I forgot what she said. I opened it (partly) and looked in it. A saw an orange cover, which I thought that it was a school book or something. I looked further and it said, "The Orange Fairy Book". So, now I'm waiting for the other book to come!

Jun. 26, 2009 - They WILL come! Today! In the mail! They will!

My mom ordered some books for me on... maybe two Thursdays ago.

The Light Princess by George MacDonald (published 1980)

The Orange Fairy Book by Andrew Lang (written 1906)

George MacDonald

Born 10 December 1824 - Died 18 September 1905

Andrew Lang

Born 31 March 1844 - Died 20 July 1912

So, then came Friday, and the books didn't come. Then Monday, nope. Tuesday, no. Mom said that they would come on Wednesday. They didn't. Then I was SURE that they would come on Thursday. Well, now it's Friday, and I will, MOST LIKELY, get them today. They will. You just wait. Because I'm waiting. They WILL come. They will. Once the mail comes. It'll be in a package. They WILL be in that package. In the mail. ON Friday. They will... they will.

Jun. 7, 2009 - A LITTLE sick...

Hi, a little while ago, Hailey got a sore throat and a cold. I forgot about that two nights ago and shared a drink with her. The next morning, I had a sore throat and later in the day, got a cough. Now, it's the morning. I still mostly have a cough, my sore throat's almost better, and I caught Hailey's cold!  Taylor is getting a sore throat. I don't THINK it's very bad... she hasn't said much. Yesterday, we went to see up. It was really good! Though, it was kinda sad at a few parts. I'm going to post some of the pictures from it on my picture blog.

Apr. 21, 2009 - Spider

Just a few minutes ago, I was going downstairs and I looked on the wall and there was a greenish-brownish spider.

Emma: A SPIDEY!!

Mom: *I couldn't really hear but it sounded like she said just ignore it.*

Emma: NO! THERE'S A SPIDER ON THE WALL!

Hailey: (Comes downstairs) A spider! There is a spider, Mom!

Emma: We gotta get it outside. SEE MOM! There's the spider!

Hailey: Emma, go get a cup, I need to trap it in that.

Emma: (Goes to the kitchen but can't find a cup so I get a little bowl) (Runs to Hailey)

Hailey: That's not exactly a cup... (uses it anyway and puts it over the spider, making it unable to get away) I need a paper to slide under it.

Emma: (Runs to the kitchen but can't find a paper so I grapped a napkin)

Hailey: NO! A paper.

Emma: I couldn't find one! Mom, Hailey and I need a paper!

Mom: (Comes downstairs and gets out a box. Pulls out a stap of wrapped up papers, gets a knife, unwraps them, and hands one to me)

Emma: (Runs back to Hailey)

Hailey: (Slides it under the bowl) (bowl slides releasing the spider)

Hailey and Emma: (Run down the stairs to a corner and find the spider)

Emma: There he is! Er... she is.

Hailey: (Knocks it onto the floor and puts it in the bowls that covered by the paper) Emma, quick, open the door!

Emma: (Opens the door)

Hailey: (Runs out the door and sets the bowl right-side-up) Come on, Spidey, you can come out!

Emma: Yeah Spidey!

Spidey: (Runs under the porch)

That was kinda stressful. The spider kinda looks like this...
