It is still HOT outside but I know most of us are thinking hard about beginning our home school studies with our families again soon. Be encouraged! All your hard work and planning will pay off.
This year we will begin WEAVER Volume 2. We will base our studies on the book of Exodus from the word of God- the Bible. I'm very excited to see what we can learn about God's purpose for His people. The kids are getting older now and I feel we can really go deeper into our subject matter. I am praying that God will continue to give me direction and inspiration so that our learning can be FUN!
We will continue to volunteer at Heart's Desire on a weekly basis as much as possible. I believe that it has been a very valuable thing for the kids to see that serving others is God's will for us. We have been so very blessed by going to Heart's Desire. I pray we may be a blessing to others as well.
Children's choir will begin soon as well as our local home school association's Student Council and Keepers of the Faith meetings. We are planning a trip to Washington D.C. with the Student Council and are needing to raise a large amount of money. One of my biggest concerns about this school year is that we may become "too busy" and not have time to really learn and absorb what God wants to teach us. I know I must give all to HIM.
He will direct our paths.
