WOW! I had not realized that it had been so very long since I posted a blog. Last year seems like it was a whirlwind of activity. Our oldest daughter, who is also a homeschool graduate, was married in August bringing many changes to our household. We are adjusting (still) and making changes. We miss her but know that she has made a wonderful choice in a godly husband.
Our homeschool has had some changes too. Our second oldest daughter has been attending the local junior college full time as well as working so we do not have much time to spend with her. She is doing wonderfully well and is growing and learning as a Christian though she has faced some interesting challenges.
We have used Weaver for the last two years but this year made a change. We have been using the The Latin Road to English Grammar. We love it and have learned so much. We are also using materials from the Institute For Excellence In Writing. I am happy with these changes and feel it has been a good year for us.
I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, among other things, a couple of months ago.
I have been learning to pace myself and eat more healthily for my body.
We found a litter of abandoned kittens in October and tube fed them until they could eat on their own. The four of them all survived and are doing well. Two were adopted by another loving family and we kept two of them. I will try to post a picture. What a blessing they have been.
I am currently doing the Experiencing GodBible study for the second time. I am praying that I can learn to be a part of the work God is already doing and that I will be totally submissive in my own will.
