I am actually posting an entry! I know it has been far too long.
I baked my first cheesecake! (Mom makes them all the time so it was time for me to make one. :-D I adore cheesecakes! They are so delicious!) I was going to post photos but I was having problems with that. It was pretty good except I burnt the bottom because I was cooking the sauce for the topping and instead of turning the burner on under the sauce, I turned the one on that the cheesecake was sitting on top of. Guess I learned there. :-D
I don't think I said last time I posted but I got a job!!! I babysit for all of the youth workers kids at my uncle's church. (There usually is 15 or 16) It's every Wednesday night. I was so excited to get it! :-D I had actually been praying that morning asking God if He wanted me to babysit to please bring the job. And He did! God is so wonderful. It just amazes me to think that the God who made the universe cares about little 'ol me. I'm so glad He does! :-D

Yes, I did design the template, but my Dad took the photographs, he said I could use them if I liked, they were all taken in England where I live.

Yeah I like to cook deserts, but I'm not so fond of cooking other things.
Actually, I can't say cheesecake is the best desert in the world, I think my mom's made from scratch sweet breads are a LOT better!

I'm planning to read more too! I love Emma, Pride and Prejudice, and the Northanger Abbey book. Not the movie! I was so disappointed... I was so looking forward to the movie! Ah well, I prefer reading anyhow! :) How are you in the sewing department?

Oh dear, cheesecake. The first one I made it took me three times before I got it right. I couldn't take the ones I had messed up (they tasted fine, ask my Dad) because I was making it for someone else and I wanted it to be perfect.
I have not tried to make a cheesecake sense then, although I probably should, just to say I CAN do it! : )
I'm glad yours turned out so well.
Oh, I also love orange chicken. It's one of my favorites.
My friend and I always order the same thing at restaurants. Sometimes I chose and sometimes she does, but it's always the same, even down to the little details, and we both always enjoy it.
