Friday Show n Tell!

Posted in Show N Tell

Every year since my oldest son has been born,  Papaw (dh's dad) has carved pumpkins with him and now four more grandchildren as well.  My son was the oldest one in the family and since we have had two more and my brother-in- law and sister-in-law have had two.  Its so great when I look through past pictures of all the years, and see all the great memories of pumpkin carvings with Papaw, the dads help too and us women take pictures and watch the kids.  We have so much fun, tonight was really great because the weather was perfect, just a great breeze and 75 degree weather, its usually very cold.  Here are some pictures from this years annual Grandpa Pumpkin Carvings!

Hey there girl,
CUTE PUMPKINS!

I opened your blg in Internet Explorer, and it looks totally fine. It is my Firefox browser where it looks odd. You may want to download Firefox and take a look at it that way just to try to see what I am seeing, although I don't know quite how to fix it :)

Love you!

All those pumpkins look great! We haven't carved up any of ours yet. Probably next weekend : ) Tomorrow we are going to the pumpkin patch in town with our HS group for a hay ride, corn maze and pumpkin hunt. Should be fun : ) Thanks for sharing.

Oct. 19, 2007 - What precious memories!

I know you sweet children will remember that as long as they live. What a neat tradition!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Where did you dh live when he did the letter people. My dh had no idea who they were. I lived in KY during that time. I was just curious if they were only popular in certain areas.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Angela,

I just saw your comment about that picture that was taken in Pigeon Forge. how funny! I used to frequent that bookstore. Now, I try not to go in there. Don't think my dh likes me brining home so many books! LOL

I was born in Cincy. My family moved to TN in 88 when I was in the 8th grade. I love to go and visit there, but this really feels like home, here. We were in Cincy a few months ago visiting my g-parents. We had the change to go the the Creation Museum on the way home. That was awesome!

thanks again for stopping by...
have a blessed day!

What a wonderful job they all did. Their is plenty of seeds to cook too & eat. I can't say which one I like the best, cause all of them caught my attention. Glad they all had so much fun with their Pop Pa. They will treasure those moments forever.
Great S&T.
