Monday Meanderings!

1. Must Dos

prepare for coop

pay some bills

Work on house (it is a mess)  It really got out of hand on me.  One of the things I enjoy doing when you feel you have a crisis cleaning on your hands is set the timer for 15 minutes and switch rooms everytime the timer goes off.  That way you see a little improvement in every room right away and you don't get too much dispair from the mess in the room (you know a break from that particular room is coming soon)

Work on Holiday Notebook

2. Zone

When the house is this messy the whole house is my zone.  Have you ever felt this?

3. Bible/devotions

Devoted Prayer Time and Psalms.  Josh McDowells Family Devotion Book as well

4. Train them Up

We have one child who is really needs some help with greed, really want to talk and work on that especially with the Holidays coming!

5. Main Menu

Monday- will be on the run and eating out

Tuesday- Chicken and noodles

Wednesday-  grilled hot dogs and chips

Thursday- spagehetti and meatballs

Friday- Pizza Night

I hope you get your house cleaned just the way you want it. I try the 15 minute idea with my kids part of the time, because they are less likely to complain if they get to stop soon. Have a wonderful week.

Setting a timer for 15 minutes works wonders for me! It helps me to stay focused and on task and I really can see things get accomplished. I need to do several 15 minute sessions today!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I enjoyed reading your blog just now! Cute pumpkin patch pictures. We visited one a few weeks ago, and I forgot the camera. :(

Yes, been there with the whole house being a mess. Not too far right now with me being sick last week and trying to recover this week. God's blessings on your plans for the week!

Great planning this week on the 15 mins. We do that on our way out the door too, each child gets a room to tidy up before we leave. I think all our children have done the greed part. I know we had more problems with our son then the daughters. Life is full of such great adventurer, with our little blessings around.

Have a great week,
Debbie

Love your 15 minute timer idea, and YES, I know what you mean by the house being the zone. I'm living it!
