I think your blog is messed up -- your main part is the size of a sidebar. I was sooo confused...

Anyway... I too put my list on my blog. I post dated it so it's always on the top -- I am buying things on e-bay and I've listed the NEW price... so I'm keeping track of how much I should big there, and marking them off as I get them.

I can't wait for next year -- but need to finish this year first. YIKES!!

I pray you will LOVE ECC... we did, as much as we did of it. I didn't finish... only did a few weeks to see if we'd like MFW. I too borrowed it from a friend. But I'm buying it now for keeps -- plan to use MFW with my younger kids too.

(Just think... in a few years... no more buying curriculum... won't that be nice?)

Hi Angela,
Good for you for being all organized and ready for Fall! And I love those adorable little Easter baskets!
Anyway, just me stopping in to thank you for sticking with me in this challenge! I know God will reward us for being faithful.
Hugs,
Leah

Looks good! I'm still working on lesson plans to finish up this year lol! I usually make plans and buy resources during the summer, but it seems I am in the minority...I've seen lots of other homeschool moms with their plans for next year posted on their sites, too. Maybe I should just get to work. Thanks for sharing. Julie http://funinthesunmom.blogspot.com

Apr. 9, 2008 - Writing

Wow, the writing program sounds fun. This was always my favorite subject in school. Writing is really a special thing, I think especially for young people. When you teach the kids to write, your teaching them a special way to share of themselves and ideas, a way that seems so concrete and honest. Writing could be where they discover themselves, their true talent, their dreams. Oh, it's going to be so much fun.

Apr. 10, 2008 - Loving ECC

Yes, we are very much enjoying our ECC year. We aren't moving through it as fast as we "should" be, just finishing up Africa this week (so still have Asia, Australia and Antartica to go and it's already mid April). There is no way to do it all (at least not while potty training and doing K with the other two) so I've sadly had to pick and choose, but we have loved what we have done. The absolute highlight has been the missionary biographies that bring each continent to life for us! Enjoy your ECC year!!!
