Show N Tell!

Posted in Our Homeschool

Check out Canadagirls blog for more show n tells!

I love looking at schoolrooms.  Do you?  Thought I would share mine for show n tell.  I blogged about it a couple of years ago but the pictures no longer show up on it because of some problem I had with photobucket awhile back.

This is the chalkboard my husband made for us.  Its chalkboard paint and magnetic paint right on the wall and then he framed it in red.  We love it!

Our table, we have a world map on it with a clear tablecloth.  We are going to change it soon to a missionary prayer table, we have an emphasis on missions this year.  I will Show And Tell it when we change it.

Of course several bookcases, where would us homeschoolers be without them?

Excuse the clutter, I have a goal of getting rid of it soon!

Wow how wonderful to have a school room! We have had them in the past and I just love it. Current house is just too small to dedicate a whole room to school. Very nice!

Hi Angela,

What a fun environment to learn in every day; I'll bet your children have a ball when they do their lessons! We do have a library, but no one room where our lessons are done. We move from the kitchen to the living room to the library - even to the trampoline or front porch if the weather permits! :) I love your world map; those colors are somehow more authentic to maps than the bright colors of the US map. Both of ours are the bright colors, but our world one needs replacing - maybe I'll look for the more muted colors.

Thanks so much for sharing today! Have a lovely weekend~

I LOVED getting to see your learning room. You have done two things that I have wanted to do this year ! That is the painted chalk board paint ( I didn't know about the magnetic paint !!!!) and the map table cloth on the school table. You are motivating me !!! I think that would be a GREAT reward for getting the learning room ready. [0= Thank you for inspiring me AGAIN. [0=

Sending you blessings and (((HUGS))) my SSiC

What an awesome school room. I would love to have a school room like that. We have to use either our kitchen or dining room table.

I love your magnetic chalk board. I NEVER thought of doing one on top the other! How cool! And Your Missionary table is such a wonderful idea. My 13 year old (when she goes) will be going on a mission trip to Rwanda Nov-Dec, would you please ask your kids to pray for Trizah?
I love your learning room.(I love that Canadagirl says that!)

Very cool! We don't have a schoolroom as we don't have an extra room in the house. I don't think my two would ever stay in just one place anyway. LOL

I love the map on the desk. I've thought of doing that and have just never gotten around to it. I wanted to put one on the coffee table in the family room. That way it would be accessible whenever we are reading or discussing news items.

Have a great weekend.

How stinking cute is that. I would love to have that type of space in my home for the boys to have a place for their stuff. I love looking at schoolrooms too.
