Show n Tell!

Posted in Show N Tell

Dad was off work last week and we went to a real working farm that you could tour from the 1800's.  There was so much to see there and it was FREE!

It has a duplicate old school like in the Little House Days!  The good old McGuffey Readers!

Allie working in the OLD kitchen!

The old carriages that they used!

Baby pigs!

Still working the farm the old fashion way!

Me and hubby sitting on the old homestead.  We dream of having some land someday, we sat there and pretended all those acres were ours!

We had a great time!

What a wonderful experience for the children, Angela! We love taking the boys to these kinds of places; and they love going. And heck, who can beat FREE? LOL

Thanks so much for sharing these!

Have a lovely weekend,

Oh, I DO love visiting those places. Looks like you had a marvelous time. Old schoolhouses are the best! We have a place very similar called Pioneer Farms. They do activities with the kids, like an hour of "real" old-fashioned school, etc.
Lots of fun!

I am a big fan of living history farms, as you might recall. Wow, yours is free. That is something!

I LOVE those kind of museums !! I wish we had one near by. What a different world they had. I do pray that your hearts desire of having land comes to be soon. Put God first and He will provide the way. I have been missing you and pray all is well your way.
