Scanalog Giveaway!

Scanalog http://www.scanalog.com/ is a CD-ROM software system to store, catalog and retrieve your favorite articles from magazines (and catalogs). It's also great for saving children's school and art work, recipes and just about anything you can think of.

My review-  I can't tell you how much I LOVE this software, it is wonderful!!!!!!!   I am always saving tons of magazines every month in hopes of tearing out certain articles and then I have notebooks of these articles that I have to store.  Well, NO MORE!  I just scan in the article and this software keeps the articles stored  under the category I want it in.  There are eleven categories to store things in such as decorating and parenting.  You can scan your childrens artwork and for us homeschoolers schoolwork.  So if you need or want to throw some papers out,  just scan them in and print when you need them!.  This is great for documents of all kinds including recipes and newspaper clippings.

I have really enjoyed this program and am going to give one away.  All you have to do is visit Scanalog and tell me what category do you think you would use the most-leave me a comment telling me.

To get another entry blog or twitter about the contest and leave another comment telling me you did so.

Or/And follow me on twitter here.

Contest open to US and Canadian residents only!  Ends Saturday the 28th at midnight!

The CD-ROM software retails for $49.95.

This comes from the maker of scanalog.

When I first created SCANALOG software I had no intention of
actually selling it to people. I created it because I needed it myself.

Every month I read a ton of magazines. And every month I find
a ton of information in those magazines that I want to save. On
everything from recipes to repairs.

Clipping the articles didn’t work. It took too much time to organize
and store them. And since I didn’t organize and store them, I could
never find them!

And that’s why I created SCANALOG
.

To put it simply, SCANALOG
is a CD-ROM software system you
can use to store, catalog and retrieve your favorite articles from
your favorite magazines. There are eleven Master Categories in
SCANALOG
that cover a range of women’s interests, from Home
Decoration to Gardening to My Spirit.

Thanks to FRN and Scanalog for this opportunity!

Wow! This software is pretty neat!

I, too, have tons of articles and artwork piled up that I plan to do something with someday. I suppose the parenting category is the one that I'd use most, but it looks easily customized to be versatile for all of my ideas.

This has to be worlds better than my use of my digital camera!

I would definetly use the food & wine section (for food!). I have tons of cooking magazines I peruse each month when meal planning. This seems like it would be a good idea. Thanks for letting us know about this giveaway! :-)

I'd use three categories about equally: food, crafts, parenting. I'd love to be able to pitch a lot of my magazines and papers that I keep for help w/ the GFCFSF diet, homeschooling, autism, parenting.

I would probably use the Parenting and Food/Wine categories the most. I'm always clipping recipes and have an unorganized mass of them.

WoW....tough choice. I would defiitely have something for each category. I'd probably use "Career" as my homeschooling category as that is my career lol Antiques or Travel would probably get the least used, but I'd think of something for them I'm sure. What an awesome concept. Thanks for this opportunity to win one.

I would love this and so would my daughter. I am always tearing out craft ideas to try and recipes and then have to search through my stacks. Love the separate categories within the category.

I know I'd use the "Home Decorating" category first to finally purge all those decorating and do-it-yourself magazines I have stored in a rubbermaid container just because they have one or two articles I wanted to hang on to.

I'd also get a lot of use out of the "Food & Wine" category so I could finally organize all those newspaper and magazine recipes I've been saving in a box all these years.

I homeschool my daughter 3 1/2 days a week. 1 1/2 days a week she goes to an assisted school. We end up with so much paperswork between teh two that I never know what to do with it. Right now I have two bins full of completed work.
This would work great for us to compile all of it into one simple place.

What a great idea! And I'm sure it works a lot better than the pile or ripped out pages I have right now. I would use GARDENING and home decor the most!

I would most definitely be using Recipes (Food) and Parenting. This is such a brilliant idea. Right now I have STACKS and STACKS of Parenting Magazines, and Clipped Recipes, and Cooking Magazines...this would definitely help on the clutter and keep everything organized! HOW GREAT IS THAT? sallyanne03@gmail.com
