I just finished watching the Steven Curtis Chapman family interview on Larry King and also Good Morning America. The interview brought tears to my eyes as I listened to the family talk about their tremendous faith to get through this horrible tragedy.
I invite you to watch all 6 parts of the interview. They are a wonderful family. Please also continue to keep this family in your prayers.

My DD is 3 years old and has loved this song since she was about 2 years old. She loves to dance and sing to it. I just love to watch her praise the Lord. Listen to this video and let it speak to your heart and spirit today.
God never promised life would be easy. I wish he had. But as we go through the trials and tribulations of life, it's important to remember that God is big enough to handle any situation that we face.
I have had this happen more often than I can say. We have faced many trials and always come out triumphant in the end. Some people say how can you keep smiling and how can your family be so close with all that you have been through.
This one song came on the radio when we were facing our son getting diagnosed with a metabolic condition that is so rare that only 1 in 100,000 babies have it. I was so scared but this song gave me peace and comfort. Every time I have needed peace, I play this song and God reminds me not to box him in. He is BIG ENOUGH! I trust this song will bless you as it has me.
Goals for 2008
1. To read "The Purpose Driven Life" and do the workbook pages.
2. To gain a closer relationship with the Lord through prayer and bible study.
3. To get our home better organized in the way of clothing, clutter under control, etc.
4. To make new friends in our new home and to also catch up with old friends. Sometimes I just get so busy, I don't get a chance to check on everyone I care about.
5. To take a class with Financial Peace University for our finances.
6. To have my children complete the school year with a great outlook, a love for learning, and better writing skills.
7. To lose 10 lbs. :)
8. To spend more time playing games, laughing, and just making new family memories.
9. To teach Carleigh how to use the potty and get her out of baby girl diapers.
10. To blog more often rather than once a month.
We are a blessed homeschooling family of 8 children. From housework to school, we never have a time where something is what other folks would call "normal".
Every day I'm grateful that God loves me and that he wants what is best for me and my family.
I'm grateful to have a loving husband who is a wonderful father and my best friend. Join us on our journey of school, family, and fun.
