Well, after a freezing walk to remember, we went in the J's new hot tub! Then out to the barn. We played 'catch the chick' where we caught all 9 little chicks, then released and caught and realeased some more. After pizza and cookies, we went back out and tried a new game. SUMO HAY!! Two people battle to the death on a heap of hay. Yup, that's what we cousins do!

In the morning we went out to the barn for more sumo hay, then came in for breakfast, then more sumo hay, then hot tub. After hot tubbing, we decided to calm down a bit with a card game. Ever played cheat? You should. Its awesome! Although our intent was to calm down, it didn't work that way and we got into many laughing fits, most of which featured HAVEN!

After cheat we had turkey and then, all to soon, it was time to go.

Sorry brittany and brianna for not bringing your books! I'll remember next time!

Oh, about the new blog. HSB is great, but not if you like to post a ton of pics. (Sheepish grin) So I opened up a new blog where I can post pics to my hearts content. I'll still keep this blog for words, but pics go over here.

... baby boys do you know who can pick their nose with (what is known in our house as) their 'daddy' toe? Not many you say? Well then, does that mean MY baby boy is special? And, out of the baby boys you know that can pick their nose with their 'daddy' toe, how many of them can lick off their toe afterwords? Really? None? Well, MY baby brother must be exceptionally talented then! Because he can pick his nose with his 'daddy' toe, and he can also lick it off when he is done.

Yay for Gage! (umm, not that I ENCOURAGE this behaviour at all, I just, umm, never mind. And my Mom will probably never let him do it again!)

When my brother comes up to you, holding a cup, it means, 'Im thirsty. Would you be so kind as to fill this cup with water?'

When my brother stands at the top of the stairs yelling down, 'Noonie! Dai-bo!' It means that he need's Sloan (nicknamed 'poo girl') To come and change his daiper.

When my brother wants me, he calls, 'RORO!'

When my brother wants Charter, Mollen or Peyton he will say, "Dar Dar" Or 'mo mo'  Or  "peypey!"

When my brother calls, "MAAAM!" It means, well, I'm sure you can guess this one. (If you guessed it means 'I want mom' you guessed correct.)

When he says, 'daaaaaddy' It means that dad came in, and Gage is excited to see him.

When my brother looks at you expectantly, and says, 'moo'. It means that he want's more of what ever he was eating. Usually cereal or fruit.

If my brother points at your buttons (Or whatever, buttons is just a good example!) And clenches and unclenches his fists (That's how he says please) he would like you to give him your buttons.

When my brother reaches up to you and says, 'Up?' he wants you to lift him up.

Now you understand a little bit about the way my brother communicates.

Gam and Gamp came today!!  They gave Charter and Gage matching orange shirts and animals that grow when you put them in water. They gave me a pink shirt, a green one just like it for peyton and blue ones that also matched for sloan and mollen. And lip gloss for the girls.

The triathlon is on Saturday!! I'm a little scared and alot excited!

Me: Mom is in her bed still.

Gage: Oh. MOM! MOM? MO-OM!!

Me: Shh! How 'bout we go find Daddy instead!

Gage: (Nods head)

So, we go down stairs to find Dad making coffee and checking the news online.

Gage: Where mom?

Me: Upstairs.

Gage: uh-dairs? (point to the stairs)

Me: yup.

Then Mom came down.

Gage: MOM!!!!!!! uh-dairs!! MOM!!! HAHAHA!!! MOM!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Seriously, I have the cutest brother in the history of cutest brothers.

So, dad was putting gage to bed, gage didn't like that idea.

Mom: Neil, can you put him to bed?

Gage: WAAAAAAHA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAA (screaming)

Me: I'll put him to bed!

Dad: Good luck! (passing gage to me)

Mom: (knowing I won't be able to put him to bed if he decides to cry) He's gonna freak out!

Me: No he won't! He looooves me!

Mom: Ok then, you can try!

So, I take him to my bed. We snuggle, tickle, giggle and wiggle. Until he stops, looks at me and says very clearly: 'mine bed'.

What?! He is ASKING to go to bed? I say, 'You want to go to Gage's bed now?' He nods. So we walk down the hall to his room. He reaches for the door handle as if saying, 'So, what are you waiting for? I want my bed!!'

We walk in the room, and I turn on his fan, when the fan is on, he knows its bedy boo time. He walks over to his playpen and reaches up, I pick him up, and he gives me a huge hug, and even a good night kiss! Then I say, 'Good night Gage.' And he says, 'niight' and waves his chubby little hands. I lay him in his bed, and he puts his head on his pillow and pulls up his blanket and closes his eyes! I didn't hear a peep after that!

Wasn't that cute? I have the best stories! I have another one, but I'll save it for tomorrow!

Today is sloan's birthday, She is 11. My birthday had better hurry up, because now she is 11 and I am 12! NOO! Now she is only 1 year younger than me! Hurry birthday, I want to resume my place as '2 years older'!!

Oh, and in the next few days I will be posting a exciting secret. Shh! Don't tell if you have already heard!!

Oh, I knew you would!

So, I was eating my mom's leftover jera chicken curry, and Gage came up and asked so nicely for some, so I gave him a bite. And another. And another. And another. Finnaly, I realized my baby was STARVING. So, sloan brought his high chair downstairs, and I fixed him up a little fairly large snack. Two hot dogs, a handfull of sugar snap peas, a peice of bread and a cup of milk. He gobbled it all up, then I took him upstairs so mom could put him to bed.

Now here's the cute part.

As we were walking across the main floor, he spotted an orange sitting on the counter, pointed at it and said, 'oonge, oonge!' While saying please in baby sign language. It was SOO cute, so I peeled the orange and gave him a peice. While I was peeling it, a peice of peel fell to the floor, and my prince, picked it up, put it in the trash can and closed the cupboard behind him. Then came and stood by me waiting patiently for his 'oonge'.

Is that cute or what?! He is so well behaved!

Alisha had to go early because everyone in my family  (except peyton, dad and gage) got the flu.

I'm kidda happy because I was in a play at church, and I only found out I was in it on Friday, so I didn't have time to learn all the parts.  Now I don't have to go to church! Maybe I'll still be able to go tonight though, (our church is starting a night service!) because I'm supposed to be doing childcare. I only fee bad for the person filling in for me!!! lol

Went to the lake with our friends. (kayla14 and smooches, as a matter of fact)

It was SOO NICE!! It was so hot and the water was perfect. We went for a couple little swims. Even Gage liked the lake! He normally doesn't like to get wet!

Before we went to lake, we had pizza for lunch. It was the BEST pizza EVER!! Then when we got home we had popsicles.

This week was VBS at our church.  It was 'crocodile dock, bayou adventure'. Hehe.  Peyton, Charter and Mollen were in it and I was a leader. Sloan and Gage stayed home with mom. It was more fun than the day camp I went to last year because this one was only half days. The other one was from 9-4, and this was 9-12. (But I had to be there at 8)

I taught kids ages k - G2. And I was also on the kids worship team. On the last day, Mrs. Teichroeb (I think that's how to spell her name!!) gave me her mic to wear! Also on the last day, ther was a hotdog lunch. (hotdogs, chips, watermelon and water) it was going to be 2$ each, but then somebody donated the whole lunch, so it was free!

P.S. When I said I would 'kick butt' with my training, I forgot about daycamp. But I DID walk about 1 mile everyday, 'cause we walked to the church, and on the days it wasn't POURING RAIN we walked another mile. And that about it, but nothing this week. (Except company... GRR!!! I'm going to SUCK at my race! I'm not getting ANY training in!!!!!! GRR!

Today is Father's Day! Tonight I am babysitting and my Mom and Dad are going out for supper with their friends that are visiting from GP.

We are going to Granny and Gramps' house in only 5 days! I can't wait! It will be SO much fun! I can't wait to see the boat!!!  Ahem, RIDE on the boat!

I WAS trying to have a nap, but the kids won't let me, and I can't tell them to 'get out of my room' bacause my room is the living room, because Dad's friend is sleeping in my room... GRR!  I wonder why they didn't want to watch TV BEFORE I tried to sleep? Whatever...

Today I had my last Bow Valley Gig... Last week was my last practice... The only thing I have left is my last jam and a few classical lessons and a classical recital... boo.

ANYWAY.

Today was the best day EVER! First of all, it was SO HOT out, then we had soccer. Ok, 28 degree weather and soccer are NOT cool together! So we were all broiling hot by 2:00 when soccer ended. But my Mom thought of a great idea. When we got home, we changed into our bathing suits and ran back out to the van and drove off to the fountain park that is a 2 min drive from our house. We played in the fountain until we were cooled off then we went back home, 'cause I had my gig that I had to get ready for. On the way home, we stopped and got slushies with the babysitting money we had from our neighbour. (They only have a baby, so when we babysit for them, she comes over to our house and then everyone helps, so we usually buy a treat for everyone instead of trying to split the money! )

Then of course, we went to my gig, and on the way home, we got DQ icecream cones. Me and mom were to hungry for just a cone though, so we got cheese burgurs and onion rings... Mmmmm.

See? I told you today was a good day!

Oh, and also, did I tell you that my Dad took out a couple of the shrubs in our yard and let me plant veggies?! Well, he did! We planted carrots, radishes, peas, potatoes and beans. (We did the beans in cups for the kids) No, we do not have a huge yard. In fact we have a very small yard, even for the city. So we didn't plant very much of anything. Oh! I forgot, we also did a little bit of spinach. So far we are starting to see green in the radish and spinach rows. Other than the cupped beans, which are also coming up. Oh! I forgot again! I planted a couple hot peppers, just to see if I could get anything, and I can see two little green shoots there, too! I lub mine darden! At first, when the spinach came up(just one little leaf popped up) , my mom thought it was just grass, but I wanted to leave it, for a couple days. Weird. Now we have a perfect, straight row of 'grass'. A whole row. Exactly where I planted the row of spinach... Hmmm. Good thing we didn't pluck it!! But it did look a little like grass...  hehe

In our house, me, Sloan, Mom and Peyton always refer to Gage as "My boyfriend".

So, anyway, we were at the pool on Saturday, and Dad and the kids all went ahead to the change rooms, while me and Mom stayed behind to wait for a slow little boy that didn't want to be carried. When I got to the change rooms, Sloan was waiting for me, she asked, "What took you so long!?"

I answered, "I was waiting for my boyfriend!"

There was this girl in there who was probably 2? years older than me, and she loked at me and rolled her eyes, obviosly thinking, "you shoulden't have a boyfriend at your age!!" (My height probably doesn't help since people think I'm 10, when I am really 12!)

HEHE! I don't have a REAL boyfriend! Just my adorably cute little Gage, and who WOULDN'T want to call him their boyfriend?!

Isn't that a funny story?! Maybe I should only call Gage my boyfriend at home, and not in public!!

 This is him and his birthday "bloon" (don't you think that is how balloon should be spelled? It is way cuter than balloon:) It was a package of 10 "bloons" and I think he has already popped 6 or 7!!!! HAHA! He loooves "bloons"

He got all his presents already, we couldn't wait to give them to him!  From the kids he got a set of wooden building blocks, from Mom and Dad he got a little wooden blue cart to push around, and a little board book from Gam and Gamp.

We made him a tiny "smash cake" for him to eat all by himself.  I'll put a pic on here when he eats it, and gets cake all over himself!!

Well, yesterday I was cousined for the 16th time!!!  I am cousined every time one of my aunties has a baby, but te baby has to be younger than me, so wyatt is the only one of my cousins that didn't cousin me when he was born! On my dad's side, I have been cousined 4 times, and on my mom's side, I have been cousined 12 times, and I have cousined wyatt.

Yesterday, I was cousined by auntie jess' little baby boy, Wesley. 

I just thought of something!!  Gage has only been born for 9 months, and he has already been cousined twice!!!!!! Isn't that cute?

Congrats Jespersens!!!  I hope you wrote on your blogs!!  I'm gonna go check them right now!!

Today I went to the dentist.  The dentist is my least favourite out of any kind of doctor.  So I guess you don't need me to tell you that I didn't have a very good afternoon. But on the bright side, we are going to Kelowna tomorrow!!! We were going to go on thursday, but daddy sid that we could go a day earlier!!!  Plus, tomorrow is Sloan's B-day.

I guess I haven't posted in a while.  Well, I was really busy, 2 weeks ago I was at  VBS all week, (during it I had 2 sleepovers with Brooklyn) and then we were at auntie Stephanie's house for 4 days. We got home at 3 AM Thursday night. (Or Friday morning, which ever you like to call it :)  Today is the only day for a long time that we don't have anything going on.  Tomorrow, I'm helping in the preschool class room at church, then on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, I'm babysitting Brock and Katlyn. On Thursday, we are going to Kelowna for the weekend, and two weeks after we get home fron Kelowna, we are going to Victoria for the family reunion!!!!!  Busy summer!!

Oh, yeah!  Gage has, like, 4 teeth now!  He is not even 6 months old yet!!!

I can't belive it!!!!  Tomorrow is Gage's 7 week birthday!!!!!  He is so big, happy, smiley, and every other cute word you can think of.  He is sitting on my lap right now, staring in awe as letters appear on the glowing screen. He is such a munchkin :)  He gave us a couple of his cute little ear to ear grins today. 

Well, I have to go do some math, and Bible reading, and other school.
